Just FYI, the model for the Razorbeak Skylord is of a Griffon/Giant Eagle and not of an owlbeast.

I found one at 54,48. It was lvl 48 and had a gust attack that blew me back a good distance so watch your back, it may cause you to aggro.

Really easy quest, me and my mate (Mage: 45 Rouge 46) went out for this one. We found some just near the road, killed one and got the item directly. Done! We rode from Skulk Rock, it took about 2 minutes to do the quest XD

Here's the Gryphon Skylords whole move sequence: 55,52 changes direction at 52,47 then goes to 53,56 goes 360 degrees and then it does the same sequence again. (Watched the whole sequence several times)

So basically you can find it around the mountaint at 56,53

After about 10 minutes of the normal move sequence it goes from the start position at 55,52 and does a quick move to 61,56 before returning to the other sequence I mentioned above.

PS: there is more than one Gryphon Skylord

Seriously this is the most pain in the @$$ quest i looked for over an hour for the stupid things and didn't find a single one any where I literally spammed "WTB HUNTER TO TRACK A STUPID BEAST PAYING 10 G" then later i found out that 5 people were doing the quest at the same time as I was that why i couldn't find any I was so mad

On patch 2.4.3 The quest is repetable. It's good for farming gold, because you will get for each plume 1,4g

Seems sort of like a reference to a7x and their waking the fallen album. Maybe its just me but it kinda hit me today while leveling an alt.

After killing a savage owlbeast thing, I waited around for a few minutes and the Gryphon just started flying my way.. I was at 54.50

Markhor mentioned that the Razorbeak Skylord are a rare breed that tend to occupy the wilds of the Hinterlands.
