Currently you will receive 75 Honor points for each additional stack (20) of Runecloth. So depending on where you stand in the realm of Honor with Darnassus, to go from Revered to Exalted requires 21,000 points which equals 280 stacks (20) of Runecloth. I recommend doing as many quest while your leveling along the way that will give you honor points toward Darnassus, because buying the runecloth can get expensive if your waiting till the last minute to boost your honor. Of course you can always stop what your doing and go back and do all of the quests! :)

to make this process easier create a macro with the following:

/run SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1);CompleteQuest();GetQuestReward()

talk to the NPC then mash the macro button and it will accept the quest, complete it and close the window

Currently, this is the easiest and fastest way to gain Exalted with Darnassus. With the level cap raised to 80, and the achievment system, players have been running Pre-BC content WAY more often. This very second, I'm sitting in Molten Core waiting for a healer to walk back. Runecloth can be easily farmed outside of instances, all the way from Searing Gorge, to Zangmarsh. As the Pre-BC farming increases, we will see the price on Runecloth drop on the AH signifiantly, as well as other Pre-BC items.

I mean, come on... Righteous Orbs are now 10g on our AH.

"A Donation of <Cloth>" counts towards Loremaster achievment, but the repeatable quest "Additional Runecloth" doesn't.

im working on farming runecloth on my realm its about 5.5g a stack i went through ramps on my 80 dk very easy to solo i came out wiith about 4.5 stacks in1 run and selling boss drops i made about 43g in there so its not a bad money making when you need some cloth
