A L38 hunter and a L39 priest (Alliance) tried to get into the Badlands to see this NPC. We entered through the mid level dwarf zone to the north. We did the simple quests the dwarfs give in the center of the zone and then fought in to the map and returned the pick and the map. I know that someone will tell me that they soloed this on their L12 druid, all I am saying is that the wolves and birds south of the dwarves are much more likely to add than the ones north of the dwarves. North, if you are the right level you mostly need to worry about the wandering group of four guards. South you can't run through the zone without aggroing stuff and if you stop to fight, three more mobs will add.

this is a tough zone even if you are level appropriate. Not sure when I will be able to do this quest. We could get no where near to the NPC and it was late and we were tired. L40s were able to walk around the zone freely, it seemed - or maybe they were just able to kill faster.

how am i suppose to go from hammerfall to badlands when in a 20-30 area (wetlands) there are 60lvl mobs that kill me 2 shot....

Can't wait for these types of quests to be wiped with Cataclysm. Seriously, crossing half the continent to talk to a guy, then come back ? And remember it used to be without a mount (below level 40), or with a slow one ?

This quest is now active again. Theldurin can be found at 26,62 in the Scar of the Worldbreaker.

Descrizione

Theldurin the Lost was once a member of our order, the Twilight's Hammer. But he lost his mind and scorned our teachings. And before he fled from us, he stole the scroll of Myzrael! We could not catch him, but rumors say he hides in the Badlands, gibbering and mad.

To bring the Lady back to us, you must find the scroll. And to do that, you must find Theldurin.
