This quest is soloable, but just barly, at level 43.

When you get to the room that Otto and Falconcrest is in, clear the three adds in the room. Don't forget the stealthed rogue that's up on the platform to the right of Falconcrest...he is not linked.

Now you have Otto, Falconcrest, and a caster mob left. Kill the caster mob. You shouldn't have too much trouble killing the caster before you die. DON'T BURN ANY LONG COOLDOWNS HERE....you'll need them for the next step.

When you die you'll only have Otto and Falconcrest left in the room when you get back in. Kill Otto. This step is when you can burn your long cooldowns because it is very tough to kill Otto while Falconcrest is beating on you as well. You should be able to get him before you die as well.

When you come back this last time the room will probably have respawned. Got to the back left corner (to Falconcrest's right) to respawn. Even though you are only at half life/mana, you should be able to take him down by himself.

Very difficult, takes 2 deaths, but can be done.

Realy hard quest, Otto hit me over 500 and often do bout 350 dmg and falconcrest got about 10000 hp according to my mods... this is not an easy elite quest...

Falconcrest is a serious undercon. At level 38 I have the same armor as my 70 rogue and the guy tore through 1500+ hp in less than 5 seconds. I had a level 60 priest there with me to help out and it tore through his shielding and everything else we could throw out to stop the onslaught and he died in seconds also. Tried the battle twice and same thing both times, mage goes down fast, Otto down like a ton of bricks, Falconcrest kicks the ever living snot out of the two of us in roughly 20 seconds. Bring a full party for this, or bring a level 70 that can do 10k worth of hp damage in a few seconds.

Confirmed as of patch 2.3 nerfed this quest, as well as all involving Stormgarde Keep. Elites have been downgraded to normal :)

soloed as a level 37 hunter, the pet makes it kinda easy as it can tank both otto and falconcrest :) they are not elite....the quest gives 5450 exp and 350 stormwind rep :)

Pretty easy solo as a 37 feral druid now. Stealth or fight your way up there, carefully pull and clear the room, take down Otto and Falconcrest in bear form (I needed to Bash and switch out to heal once).

5450 xp. Killing Falconcrest at 37 while rested is worth 1000 xp too :)

I, as a level 37 Hunter specced as Beast Master, was able to solo all three quests. I only died once during all three quests. Just take your time and pull the mob carefully. Stun the mob when it has a little bit of life left. That way, when they run (and they ALWAYS do!) you can finish them off before they "call for help".

As lvl 40 holy pally, this was actually really easy using seal of crusader, judgment, and consecrate and healing when needed.

I'd just suggest making sure you have full mana before engaging named mobs.

Also, clear ads first :)

really easy as a 41 mage. clear room except for otto and falconcrest, sheep falcon crest, kill otto, then deal with falconcrest. Didn't loose 1HP the whole fight.

Soloed pretty easily as a lvl 41 hunter spec'd for beast mastery. I sent in my bear, hit bestial wrath, and sat back and pelted them with arrows and arcane shots. By the time my bear's bestial wrath wore out, they were both dead.

Soloed with my shamy at lvl 36 killed Otto died once reincarnation and then killed Falconcrest preaty easy!

As a 38 druid, this quest was still pretty easy. You can avoid most of the mobs on the way in just by prowling through.

There is only one way to enter the room, so kill the mob just outside it. (It was a Magus for me) Start clearing the mobs inside the room one by one. As a rogue or druid trying to get behind the mobs, you can hop on the ledges on the side of the room; they will not evade. If you feel they might aggro, just pull them to the spot just outside the room with a ranged attack.

I took down Otto first, pouncing from the table behind him and easily took him out. He ran off but died to bleeds. Falconcrest is not a runner, but isn't so tough. ;) Good luck!

Soloed as a 39 shadow priest.

Clear the room, none of the mob link aggro with the two quest mobs.

Kill the Otto the Bodyguard as fast as possible, he seems to attack faster than Falconcrest, interrupting your spells more often when PW:S breaks.

i did this today as a lvl 36 rogue. Not twinked. Pulled the whole room, distracted, sapped and killed otto 1st followed by Falconcrest. I will say that i bandaged twice, potted and used evasion lol but i did it! :D

But I killed by a lvl 38 Horde Mage while making my way out to the exit...

A 36 mage and 37 'lock duo can take this on easy. Watch out for regular mobs in the room, though. There was a thief, 2 mages, and a prowler that almost ganked us at the last minute. Once we cleared those out, it was easy to frostbolt down Otto while my voidwalker tanked Falconcrest. Then we just focused on him. Nothing to it!

For caster classes, when you fight this duo be aware that Otto has a silence/interrupt. Kill him first, and Falconcrest will go down easily.

For melee classes, your best bet is to kill Falconcrest first because he can and will disarm you.

I managed to do this alone as a 38 Hunter, though it was a little tough. I'd reccomend bringing help since there is a real chance all through this quest that you will pull unwanted mobs.

Otto and Falconcrest are in the castle in the Arathi Highlands. Keep going straight from the entrance, up the ramp. The courtyard is packed with steathed Syndicate mobs as well as mages with Voidwalker minions. Be extremely wary of the mages, their Shadowbolts hurt and they can also put you to sleep. As human mobs these guys will flee when they get low on health. In the tight corridors of the castle this is very bad - even worse in the room where Otto and Falconcrest are.

The guys you are after are in a large room up some stairs and a ramp inside the castle. In there with them are at least three other mobs. On my trip there were two Syndicate members right near the door and I was able to pull them without alerting the others, but be wary, as when they got low on HP they ran STRAIGHT for Otto and the others. Otto and Falconcrest are both tough coustomers so deal with them as soon as possible.

Even though they are no longer elite I'd still say having a partner is a good idea since it's very easy for things to go bad here.

Easily a soloable quest for enhance shamans. Finished this quest as a lvl 36 DR shaman. The 2-3 mobs that are in the room with Falconcrest and Otto can be kited out of the room so as to not aggro Falconcrest and Otto. Drop a magma totem as soon as you get aggro, along with whatever your personal flavor totem you would like. Keep up Lightning shield for the extra DPS and you should have no worries!

Did this quest last night as a lvl 35 human rogue, with a lvl 35 (both barely) night elf druid partner. Aggro range very large leading up to Otto and Falconcrest. I died once after aggroing Otto, Falconcrest and a guard in their room.

Rezed, healed and then killed Falconcrest while partner took Otto (after reading comments, probably should've done the other way). Stealthed out with only one pull.

It was trying, but not impossible.

When running around stormgard don't think that if your alliance running into the alliance section of town may save you! The gaurds there don't do anything if your being chased. And then when you click on one they say "May I help you?" Apparently not!

ugh.This quest can overlap quite nicely with Marrel Crone since both of them arent very far apart :D can be done solo at 37-38 but 2 level 35-36's can do it also :)

Descrizione

The Stromgarde Militia has placed bounties on the heads of Lord Falconcrest, and his bodyguard Otto. Falconcrest heads the Syndicate's efforts in the Arathi Highlands, and his death would cause a major disruption in those efforts.

His bodyguard Otto, although not a strategic target, is a fierce opponent and has killed dozens of our defenders.

Their bounties may be collected from Captain Nials.
