If you've done Poisoned Water (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=6804) and Stormers and Rumblers (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=6805) then you can do these quests.

You need to do these quests to get Eternal Quintessence (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=22754) which is used to dowse the runes in BC. It has a one hour cooldown and some bosses share rune so you don't need eight for Domo to appear.

This quest DOES count towards Loremaster of Kalimdor. I just hit 730/730 off of it. :)

After patch 3.0.8 this quest is no longer attainable. I was doing the two pre quests for the feats of strength achievement and when I had done the quest about the rumblers he had no more quests. I really wanted that achievement :'( This is what happened for me...

I had the quest in my questlog prior to 3.0.8 and just turned it in. I did get the Molten Core followup from Hydraxis.

If you complete the pre-quests to this one after 3.0.8 Duke Hydraxis will no longer offer this chain to you.

I picked this quest up after 3.2, I had the quest before, then abandoned it and cancelled my account (returned a month ago).

It seems only Poisoned Water (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=6804) was removed, not Stormers and Rumblers (http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=6805), i had done both quests on my Death Knight in early WotLK and then got distracted with Ulduar, came back in 3.3.3 and pick this quest up and a druid friend got Stormers and Rumblers, but wasnt offered Poisoned Water, seeing how far thru the chain i can get now.

I went back in last night after the reset to kill the trash that stops spawning after a clear, and then kill the bosses for the next quest. I did get the feat so as of 3-31-10 The Fifth Element (http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=2496) feat of strenght is still obtainable if you had already done Poisoned Water.

Note that you need Honored with Hydraxian Waterlords to continue to the last quest, and to start the third quest.

High up in Blackrock Spire the orcs have captured a servant of fire, the Pyroguard Emberseer. Find his place of imprisonment, slay his captors, and then slay the emberseer. Bring me his eye and it will show me your worth.
