This can be done at Lordamere Internment Camp (21,83). This should be done together with Stone Tokens since you'll be killing a lot of those Dalaran Shield Guards and Theurgists.

Ricter who drops the Bloodstone Marble can be found at 19,84.
Alina who drops the Bloodstone Shard can be found at 20,86.
Dermot who drops the Bloodstone Wedge can be found at 19,85.
Kegan Darkmar who drops the Bloodstone Oval can be found at 17,83.

The 'Oval' is guarded by a human female named Bellamoore (sp?) and she herself is 36 or 37, she drops a 'journal' which isn't exactly related to the quest itself, but it details her studies on Bloodstone and it's origins...

Some good flavor material to read for those who like that stuff, make sure you kill her & loot the book (Bellamoore's Research Journal is the name I believe).

Be careful with this quest it says its 34 but thats a lie it should say 36 as the last room you go into has guards 33ish and then the wizard girl that will aggro you from the other side of the room and the last mob for the quest is 35. Also the shield guards have an annoying ability that reflects damage on you say I hit them for 41 they return the damage to me as 85 it seems to not matter how hard you hit them the damage will remain the same on the return so if you see them stop moving and orbs appear around them just stop attacking them.

Soloable as a level 31 rogue. Sap the Warden and dps Kegan down as fast as possible. A pot really helps because I was down to my last sliver of life before I got him. Vanish and run away before the Warden comes out of her sap.

I'm level 32 at the moment and this quest is yellow. The warden is level 36 and I'm starting to wonder what Blizzard is thinking marking the quest yellow when the mob is 4 levels above.

I could not complete this as a level 31 Druid. I got everything except the Oval, it requires you to fight 2 people, one of which is a caster. Since Bear form doesn't help against magic damage, I just couldn't kill even the Oval guy before I died. She hits pretty damn hard with her Fireballs. The corpse run for Horde is also horribly long, so I gave up and I'll get the Oval in a couple of levels.

Finished it as a lvl 31 hunter. Didn't find too much difficulty in it, just fought the level 36, then when that one was dead I fought Kegan, since the four of them don't aggro unless provoked.

I absolutely hate this quest. I made a account here to complain about it.

As a 33 rogue, I simply can't do it. There's 2 stone guards upstairs, and the warden. It's impossible for me to sneak in... Then to make matters worse, the NPC that you need to kill just runs off at 30%!

No matter what I've tried, I always agro the WHOLE room... Bring potions, have good gear, and hope for the best I suppose :/

I also have just made an account to complain about this horrible quest.

The quest was shown as yellow, and as a 31 retribution paladin with excellent gear for my level I tend to have little problem soloing slightly above my level so decided to try it.

The main house isn't too bad, use retribution aura (or thorns) to kill the ghosts the casters spawn, since any damage at all seems to kill them. Use your interrupts on their frostbolts instead.

Then the oddest things started to happen..

Firstly, the two stone guards aggro when I am below them with no line-of-sight at all, which was rather annoying. You need to remember this, as it changes how you kill the last caster (the one in the corner). On my first attempt I had to reset the pull due to getting three +2/3 level mobs at once due to this aggro bug. LoS the caster and drag her to the doorway you just came up. Dispatch the two guards as a 2-pull by swicthing damage to whichever one doesn't have the aura up and begin the final challenge.

Notes:

- You cannot LoS her casts on the stairway by running to the top and back down again, you need to abuse the downstairs (the one you just used to pull the last caster) doorway to LoS her fireball casts.
- She has a fairly weak melee attack, Cone of Cold (50% snare) aswell as a reasonably powerful Fireball.
- The way I killed her as a 31 retribution paladin (with a terrible hit rate due to the 5 level difference) was by Judging Light and using Blessing of Wisdom at the start of the fight before running in & out around the doorframe. I ate a few Cones of Cold which made movement difficult, however when she starts casting Fireball it gave time for a single Flash of Light before LoS'ing the cast in the doorway. This was very slow, however it worked - I doubt the retribution "burst" tactic used for most assassination quests at that level would have worked due to the level distance, however good luck if you attempt this quest at a higher level.

Lastly, if you're Horde, as has been said, the corpse run is absolutely awful to get back to this point and you're likely going to have to kill everything all over again. So dont' waste your time LoS'ing on the stairway unless you can somehow guarantee snare removal. Abuse the downstairs doorway the best you can and don't rely on interrupts since they have a high chance of missing for underlevelled characters.

This is a horrible, horrible quest. Tried as a level 32 Blood Elf mage, and this was a yellow quest for me. While the Wedge, Marble, and Shard were easy to get, I found the Bloodstone Oval impossible to get to. I tried everything except bringing a group in. The level 36 mob is highly resistant to Counterspell, although I was able to polymorph her, but I could not bring Kegan down enough to survive the the Warden's fireball assault after the Polymorph expired. Her Fireball, by the way, averaged about 180 damage for me, which was more then 1/8 of my hit points. And, as others have stated, the corpse run for the Horde is terrible, and that combined with the quick respawn times for the mobs in the area makes this quest one of the most frustrating and badly designed I've encountered so far. I'll wait to continue the quest until I'm level 34 or higher.

EDIT: I got to level 34 and happened to have a Paladin friend who was running quests in the same area. He came in a helped and it was easy to finish. Bring a partner and save yourself the frustration.

Just solo'ed as a lv34 Fire mage and actually this quest is quite easy at my level. Dead once because pulled too many on the seconds floor of the building.

This quest is completed by retrieving 4 stolen artifacts from neutral undead traitors south of Dalaran, in Lordamere Internment Camp in Alterac Mountains (map)
The drop percentage is 100 on every mob.
(The coordinates of mob may vary as they wander around a bit)

Bloodstone Wedge from Dermot - Located inside the house surrounded by palisade walls - (20, 86) - Level 34
Bloodstone Shard from Alina - Located inside the same house with Dermot - (20, 84) - Level 33
Bloodstone Marble from Ricter - Located outside the house surrounded with palisade walls - (20, 85) - Level 33
Bloodstone Oval from Kegan Darkmar - Located upstairs of house north of the palisade walls - (18, 84) - Level 35

Kegan Darkmar is guarded by Warden Belamoore, level 36 sorcerer. You better kill her before touching Kegan. (Sorcerer drops Belamoore's Research Journal, it can be trashed, it has no use)

Killing them is easy, every class on level 29+ should be able to solo them. Remember to clear the aggressive humans before attacking the undead.
None of them use any special abilities. They attempt to run away in fear when on low hp.

It is also recommended to do quest Stone Tokens (Level 32, requires 30) at the same time, because the undead you have to kill are surrounded by Dalaran Shield Guards and Dalaran Theurgists which both drop Worn Stone Tokens for that quest.

The quest is turned in to Magus Wordeen Voidglare in Tarren Mill (61.6, 20.8).

The reward is following:

The quest leads to Dalaran Patrols, what may cause some running around, as you have to return to Dalaran Ruins to complete that quest.

Venovel examined the stockade with a critical eye. There were guards at both entrances and roaming patrols.

She noted a critical flaw in the camp's design. They had built no wall at the rear, relying on the steep side of the hill to prevent prisoners from escaping. The fools. A single guard patrolled the hill, but he was easily dealt with.

A short jump down to the ground, and she could quickly and quietly take out the roaming patrols within the stockade. The three prisoners within were easy prey for a few spells. Only now was it necessary to take down the guards at the entrance so she could depart.

Next, she went to the building next door and worked her way through, Turning any additional guards that came after her into sheep while she dealt with them one at a time.

Finally, She found the final traitor, guarded by a powerful spellcaster. Contemptuously turning the spellcaster into a sheep, the traitor soon went down. A fire ward was most efficatious against the angered spellcaster when the shapeshift wore off, and Venovel made her escape.

Soloed this as a 30 ret Pally with ordinary to decent gear. It was coming up orange in my quest log so I thought I could solo it pretty easy but the 36 mage mob guarding the final undead was a challenge and I died a couple of times.
My advice is to take her out first as you wont aggro the undead , heal up, then take on Kegan. Also, avoid any AoE abilities as they'll aggro Kegan, I found this out by using arcane torrent on the mage and pulling the undead too.
Dying is a &*!@# here because not only is it a long walk, but if you choose to rez at the spirit healer, you'll be in the middle of the 34+ level ogre area north of Tarren Mill which can be tricky to get out of, especially when rez sick.

Solo'd as a 30 Orc Rogue. Specs are in mostly in subtlety. It was challenging. First kill the 3 undead in the camp. They are simple, just be aware that lower lvl players (me) easily grab aggro of PAT's.
Then I used stealth and snuck my way to the next building where the last undead is at (lvl 35). He is on the top story and is guarded by 2 lvl 32's and a lvl 36 caster. As a rogue just kill the 2 NPC's on the lower floor and wait for your Vanish to be off of CD. While stealthed walk half way up the stairs and SAP one lvl 32, then use distraction to get the other lvl 32 to get in position where Ambush can be used. Try to kill this NPC fast!, then bandage and kill the other sap'd lvl 32. You more than likley will aggro the lvl 36 caster at this time. just hurry to burn the lvl 32 and then use vanish. Take a moment to get ready and then burn down caster. After that you can kill the undead and go turn in.

Complete this quest with the quest to collect the stones from the other NPC's around area.

Be careful of mobs on the opposite side of the fence- even though you can't see them (unless you are a hunter), they can see you. Suddenly a scuffle with 1 or 2 mobs will become a battle against 3 or 4.

I soloed this quest with my 31 Shadow Priest. The first three, like was said before, are relatively easy. The last mob with the Bloodstone Oval was a little tricky.

The way I did it was to concentrate all my abilities on the quest mob, not Belamoore. I had to heal quite a bit in order to survive, but once I had the quest loot, I really didn't care if I died as that was the last part I needed in the area at the time.

This quest is misleading with the level 34 tag.

Just a reminder to rogues, be very careful of the shield guards, their ability to reflect damage makes you dead before you know what happened. Just be ready and stop attacking when they use it. The 2min run from the orge graveyard is not fun to do 4 or 5 times in a row.

Solo'd as a level 30 subtlety rogue. All you have to do for the level 35 mob is stealth up the stairs until you reach the last set, sap the guy looking down the stairs and stealth past the other. Sap the level 36 caster next to him then ambush the level 35. You'll aggro the other mobs so just use evasion and keep hitting the level 35. Once he's dead just go down the stairs and vanish, then you're done.

I came to Tarren Mill to research, but now must resolve a crisis. You see, four Forsaken fled the Undercity a few months ago. They turned their backs on their brethren, but what's worse...they stole from the Dark Lady.

These thieves broke into a secure vault and stole four artifacts, items our apothecaries required in certain studies. Sylvanas would have these artifacts returned.

The thieves fled the Undercity to Dalaran, and those wizards quarantined them in the Lordamere Internment Camp.
