This isn't a bad quest to do, you'll probably only have troubles with the Beast hide now - since 70s can easily two-man the place. Give your mage or priest a substantial boost.

One run through Stratholme should get all the Stitches,
The Arcanite's just five Transmutes away,
and the Fluid's from five half Scholomance runs, shouldn't take more than two hours of your time if you know what you're doin'.

Completed this quest today.

It is repeatable and does indeed count towards Achievement quest total, though not towards Kalimdor quest total.

Sadly not comparable to the Robes of Arcana in any way shape or form... The only similarity is that both have Intellect and Spirit.
My Mage is sad now. No Arcana set for him.
