The chain prior to this quest starts with "Psychometric Reading" in Feathermoon Stronghold, Feralas.

There are two versions of this quest which are easily mixed up, given that they have the same name and text. This is the one at the end of the Feralas questline. The good version (tons of experience and reputation) is at the end of a questline that starts in Gadgetzan in Tanaris.

There's two other quests from around there that send you to Darnassus, so it's not a wasted trip. We have In Search of Knowledge from someone in Feathermoon, and Handle With Care from a gnome in Gadgetzan. Plus, the whopping 6k xp from the last part of the quest dinged me, so I needed to go to Darnassus to train anyway. = )

A quick calculation shows 32350 experience from quest turn-ins alone, never mind XP from mob kills etc. So for you twinks out there, I'd suggest being under 60% to lvl 50... yes, a warning to the twinks who realized 49 was a pretty good spot to stop. Or if you are a victim of bad planning or both.

it is possible to solo all this at level 40 with a night elf rouge (semi twink gear.) but ill be honest i only killed 2 mobs in the whole quest series (died once from the 2 atackers but killed one and cmae back for the second) if your desperate to do it you can but it might be better to wait if your not impatient like me :P.

It seems that you can't put high level enchants on these anymore. My rogue, which I only leveled through here during 2.3 was able to get assault to gloves on them, but my druid in 2.4.2 couldn't.
