I killed a bunch outside the instance but no drop.. so i went in and went right down to the alter of hakkar.. i stealthed(54 rouge) past the groups and killed the single ones.. very easy ;P just have a lot of food and/or bandages.. that is if you are a rouge or druid in cat form... how u other guys do it i dunno =) just find a group.. hehe ;P Oh and if u get short of the single ones u can just walk outside and reset the instance..

It drops from:

- Deep Lurker ( http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=8384 )
- Saturated Ooze ( http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=5228 )

They are INSIDE the instance. You need a group.

From the enterance go right and down the stairs to the mobs dropping the Atal'ai Haze.

Soloed this as lvl 55 enhancement shaman and it's a pain so i recomend ppl getting a group. u almost at all times have multiple mobs to fight

This quest is a little tricky if you want all 5 quest items in one blow, but there is a easier way.

I soloed this quest with a lvl 51 warlock (affliction), by going down the stairs on the right, taking the first elite that's alone on the way down, getting my quest item - then running out again and reseting the dungeon.

Then repeat...

fyi you can only do it 5 times so if you don't get all 5 you will have to wait an hour or go try to kill another one while in there cuz there is a limit on how many times you can enter

After turning this in on 1/4/08 I did NOT recieve achievement credit for Loremaster Kalimdor.

isn't it obvious that this q does not count for LOREmaster....because it has nothing 2 do with the lore of warcraft,
i doesn't explain who and what, how and when....it's just a q item dropped from the mobs inside Sunken Temple.
but if your doing ST...it is definitely worth getting it!

Since Larion, Muigin, and Linken are references to NES games? Could the zapper be a reference to the NES zapper?

Does NOT give credit for Loremaster of Kalimandor achievement.

Bloodpetal quest after, however, does count towards Loremaster of Kalimandor achievement.

You're in luck, <name>! I've been working on some of my own experiments while Marvon's been gone, and one of them is a short range bug zapper. With just a few adjustments, it should be great for ridding yourself of those Bloodpetal pests.

I can let you have one of my zapper prototypes, but you'll still need to collect the fuel. You can get the necessary Atal'ai haze that the zapper needs in the temple of Atal'Hakkar. The deep lurkers, murk worms, or oozes are the ones you'll need to get it from.
