The quest is very easy, The Thistleshrubs can be be found south west in Tanaris.

You should definitely do this with 'The Thirsty Goblin' because you're going to be killing the Thistleshrub Dew Collectors (which drop the Laden Dew Gland needed) anyway.

A good place to kill the lot of them would be 28,68.

Tip: At level 49 this area is still risky if fighting multiple enemies!

if your a lock get down here!!!! this area is not 2 dangerous 4 us, as a lvl 46 i took on a lvl 48,49 and 50 elemental at the same time easily, just make sure u banish banish banish and u cant lose!!

The cacti garden, where you find the Thistleshrub dudes (pretty much bottom Southwest corner,) is also the way to get out of Tanaris to Un'Goro Crater. Pretty easy as a 48 druid, just try not to get 'em in mobs. It's a good quest to do with "The Thirsty Goblin," since the Thistleshrub Dew Collectors are there. Not exactly a walk in the park, but it's pretty easy, still.

Easily done with a Level 47 Rogue with decent armor and wep. Watch out for moving patrols while fighting

Editing to answer my own question: These mobs are NOT immune, nor even particularly resistant, to Nature damage (nor are the Dew Collectors for the Thirsty Goblin quest). Didn't get a single Resist after spamming Lightning Bolts at them.

As an Elemental Shaman I often just skip quests involving standard elemental mobs. Without Lightning Bolt/Chain Lightning I have to be skillful and stuff. Challenges are for suckers.

Have you ever seen Thistleshrub Valley? It's a mighty dangerous place, <name>.

Those strange beasts there, I don't trust them for a minute! Gnarled thistleshrubs and thistleshrub rootshapers, that's what I think they were called...

Anyhow, I want to get into the valley, but with so many of those thistleshrubs around, there's no way I'm going back there. But here's where you come in -- if you clear some of them out, I just might think about going back. What do you think, <name>? Help me out?
