Not sure what the quest is, but I think there is a pre requisite to get this quest. I will update when I find out what it is.

just go to teldrassil and go to the first bulding after u go out of the bout the building that face u and go to the 2nd floor :D thats all

As of Jan 11 2008, I was able to pick up this quest on my lv47 shaman without doing or having any quest from Feralas in the quest logbook. The prerequisite thing might either be just a bug or removed recently.

While the ruins of Feralas can be quite dangerous, they have much to tell of what has happened here.

Searching through the rubble to the south a few days ago, I discovered what appears to be a normal stave. However, I just can't shake the feeling that there is something more to it. Angelas and I have been poring over our books here, but we can't find a thing about it.

I have a colleague in Darnassus that may be able to tell us what this is, <name>. Why don't you go talk to her and see if she can help us?
