Tyrion (69.21, 14.41) must have his Spybot present in order to speak with him about the quest. If his Spybot is gone, you will not see a quest end marker ( ? ) until it's back. In a few moments the Spybot will return and you will be able to complete the quest.

Physical Directions: First left in Stormwind Keep to a grassy square courtyard. Tyrion stands near the base of the tree in the East corner.

I'm also having issues with the quest. Tyrion is there, his bot is there -- but he doesn't want to talk to me. I waited at least ten minutes. It appears bugged.

This quest is bugged as of 3.0.2 it seems. Even though both Tyrion and his spybot is present, you cannot complete this quest.
We can only wait for it to be fixed..

I was helping my cousin with the quest and he said he could talk to Tyrion but he couldnt turn in the quest. So on my death knight I did the quest and i am having the same problem.

Tyrion keeps saying "You'll have to be with me, <name>.
I've got my Spybot inside working on a very delicate matter. I'll be with ya in a second.

Oh, and do me a favor, try not to let Lescovar see you... we're about to ambush him." While Spybot is next to him.

Also Lescovar is Lord Gregor Lescovar found at http://www.wowhead.com/?npc=1754

Bugged for me also. I can talk to Tyrion but he just gabbles about his Spybot being absent (while it's standing next to him) and won't let me hand the quest in.

Yup, still bugged. Tyrion and his spybot are here and Lord Gregor Lescovar is standing in the middle of the plot pre-the library. *sigh.* needs yet another restart...

If Tyrion is bugged and you happen to have a horde alt at around lvl 70-80, then relog, run to SW and kill Tyrion, Lescovar(If Lescovar is there ofcourse) and Spybot.

By the time youve logged back on your allie, the npc has respawned and you are free to hand in/pick up quests from Tyrion.

On the Tichondrius server, we put in a ticket and a GM fixed it for us after about 15 minutes. Try that before you get too frustrated--they are willing to help!

The GMs know this quest is bugged, and the one who responded to my ticket was more than willing to take the time to fix this - though he did say they don't know exactly why the quest is breaking. Our problem seemed to be caused by Lescovar being in the garden before Spybot goes to summon him. Maybe as a result of someone failing the part of the quest to whack him - who knows... Once the GM reset Lescovar to his proper position (in the library, I think it was) we were finally able to get the quest to advance normally. It also required a reset of Tyrion and Spybot; but since that was the first step taken in the attempt to resolve the issue, I'm not sure it it was ultimately necessary. But probably...

So... if you run into this issue, ask the GM to reset Lescovar, Tyrion, and Spybot.

Bugged here too! Showed up a few times, Tyrion won't start the event even though his damn spybot is standing right there. WTF, Blizz? Filed a ticket.

This event was bugged for me aswell so I put in a ticket. After about 5 hours my ticket was answered and I got the standard "We are currently looking into this issue" so I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I created a level 1 Horde Character and did a /who for a level 80 Rogue. I asked this Rogue to sneak in and assassinate Lord Gregor Lescovar, Tyrion, and Tyrion's Spybot. The Horde Rogue made his way into the keep where he saw me dancing. He /poked me and I led him to the victims. He killed them quick and clean and Tyrion and his Spybot respawned soon after. He accepted my quest and the event functioned perfectly.

I think the event only glitches when you fail at killing the Lord and the Defias Rogue. They fail to despawn and the Lord sits there waiting for the Defias Rogue to appear.

Omg, he is talking about the next dark portal to open... and in the quest chain, another is talking about deathwing attacking stormwind, and considering its a vanilla quest, does that mean blizzard knew already what was going to be the next 2 expensions? Is there any other expension in the quest descriptions? Hmmmm....

Hmm, an interesting tale, and not one to be taken lightly. Yeah, I can help you, but what you need to do is divvy out a form of justice that's not... legal, if you're to see this through to the end.

Lescovar and Marzon need to be dealt with, and swiftly. Do you think you're capable of such a thing?

You decide. If so, then make haste to the castle and find an old friend of mine, a gnome named Tyrion. He's been watching Lescovar now for a couple weeks. He should be able to help you end this.
