How to do this:

Get the quest from the questgiver.
In your bags, you will find Doomsday Message. Right-click it while not mounted to cast. You will get the buff Doomsday Messenger
Ride through Valley of the Heroes, Goldshire, and Westbrook Garrison. At Westbrook, you just need to get on the bridge into the castle.

Just equip the sign from your inventory and run around at each of the three locations. Your toon will say one of several apocalyptic lines and the quest will update.

However it does NOT count towards the achievement Loremaster of Eastern Kingdoms

Stormwind city guard replied to me as I ran by and my automatic sign I have over my shoulders makes me call out "The end of the world is at hand"....so he says " why don't you take it where somebody cares?" ....lol I'll remember that next time I click on you and you give me the same old BS!

I'm having problems completing this quest. I read everything on wowhead, used the item, mounted up and went to the coordinates specified above, an around for a while and said a lot of the 'doomsday sayings' at each location. But it still shows that I haven't completed any of the requirements.
Any other suggestions? Anyone else having this problem?

Anyone else notice that the sign has chinese letters on it? No wonder it's a "sign of doom"

also for anyone not getting credit for the turn-ins, abandon quest and re-take it.

Right click on your Doomsday Message (white document in your bag - you get it from Overseer Sylandra when you pick quest) and while your wearing a large board with chinese letters just walk trough:

Westbrook Garrison
( Spot is enter in stronghold )
Valley of Heroes
( come to General Marcus Jonathan - npc on enter in SW )
Goldshire
( Just between buildings )

GZ! You complete quest, now go back to Overseer Sylandra to deliver it.
