The book is in the Scarlet Monastery Library. It's hanging off of a bookshelf on a short wall in the last hallway before the final boss. This is a level 38 quest (I believe), so you might want to kill the final boss because has some pretty good mage drops for around that level, maybe a bit lower though.

It's a level 40 quest.. and the boss in the library part has many good drops for a mage. One example is the illution staff thing. (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=7713) I helped two of my friends in library and armory yesterday. One warlock and one paladin, with my level 60 paladin ^^

Warlock got two very good drops from library, and paladin got a very good helmet from armory.

Well for me it was in the middle of the three book cases, to the left as you leave the section in which you find the Mythology of Titans. At this point the corridor turns sharp right, but you go left to shelves.

The quest is level 40 and is very doable at level 33 with a couple friends. I was a level 33 frost mage and completed it without trouble. The wand you choose will carry you through 45 if you don't get any epic stuff that is from grinding in the dungeons ;)

you can solo this at lvl 44 if you are patient and careful. there are key points where you probably will not aggro anyone, even the wanderers. What I did was get 5 invisibility potions. Go to the entrance of the Library, you will see 2 npcs right at the doorway. hug the wall and scoot by. drink one pot, and run immediately down the hall and across the courtyard to the door. Immediately turn right, there is a safe spot you can wait for your pot cooldown to end (Alphamap coords approx 74,89). Drink your next potion and run down the hall to the door on the RIGHT. keep to your right and into a corner of the next hall (coords 77,80). Hug as best you can into the corner. drink the next potion, and run down the hall, turn RIGHT, then immediately go LEFT into the corner (coords 81,70). make sure to stay in the corner because there is a npc that walks by. Next pot, run down the hall again, the book is on the left, so go left into the corner. you should be able to get the book while standing int he corner, so you will not aggro the 2 NPCs standing there. then hearth home!

i dont know about anyone here but i kinda got this at LVL 30! not 44 and whould like to do it then, or now, or whatever tense the word then now and before come in from. can you do this w/invisibility pots at 30 or does anyone have a better solution?

solo'd with some care on both my 48 frost mage and 46 hybrid mage tonight, no invis necessary. for the conservative mages, 46 is probably a good level to expect to solo this without potions, or a group, or friends who are up at 4am.
for the record, my frost mage had little trouble, but the hybrid died on the dog handler guy, as well as on a halfhearted attempt at taking a group of five gallants. both handled doan without trouble. both were able to blink past door guards before doan (a nice touch), and to loot the book without aggroing the nearby monk. the guards in the early corridor will not aggro if you hug the wall; i didn't try to make it through the cloister without clearing the edges though.

yeah... i don't know why i have two mages, either.

Easily soloed as lvl 42 frost mage. This in full BoA gear though, sitting at 220 spellpower. Took 15 minutes, skipping everything I considered safe, and killing the rest.

I have just picked up this quest at lvl 30? very starnge, guess i wont be soloing it, lol

I'm level 37 (horde) now and quest is showing orange difficulty. SM library has already gone green in dungeon finder so it doesn't even come up as random anymore... It seems like the q level is deprecated way too high.

If you are lvl 41, you are out of luck: you can go to the Library through the Dungeon Finder within levels 30 to 40.

Hm... now that I think about it, I don't have my book! You see, I had some gambling debts and to pay them off I sold the last copy of Rituals of Power to a member of the clergy....

A member of the Scarlet Brotherhood. He must have taken it to their library in the Scarlet Monastery in Tirisfal Glades!

If you want that book, then you'll have to go to the monastery to find it. And sorry about all the trouble. I'm not myself these days...
