THe drop rate on the large fragment is bad. I had to run sfk multiple times to get it to drop since there are only so many darksouls.

For those people who don't read quests, remember, you have to run two dungeons. Blackfathom Deeps for the 3 smaller fragments and Shadowfang Keep for the large fragment.

The quest giver is friendly to both alliance and horde, so you can get this quest for both factions from him. Got it on my undead lock, but never did it because in my opinion the rewards aren't worth the time.

This quest is completely not worth it. Yes, it's nice to get some gear out of these 2 instances, but the xp is not worth the travel time to and from the Barrens. 2500 xp, you could get that in 10 minutes or less in Wetlands. Save yourself the time and trouble, skip this one Alliance. And purge this please, I love being reminded of how contributions such as this, which are simply trying to help future site visitors, are purged without prejudice. >.>

See that small box in the upper right corner? The one named "Quick Facts"? If you click there on the "Start: Doan Karhan" you can see who and where the quest starts. Giving coords to quest givers in comments are useless when you find the info there.

Not worth the time and effort. When so low level, doing quests is faster to level. And since leveling is fast, gears get replaced fast too.

There is a warlock quest that gives a better staff/offhand anyway later on. I would suggest do that instead of this. That staff can bring you a long way. And you don't have to run TWO friggin instances.

This quest is awful. I had to run a guild member through this. Save yourself the frustration and maintain your guild membership: Skip this idiotic quest.

it is worth it if you have enchanting yu can get the staff or the orb and when your done w/ it disenchant it and take another orb/staff quest thers plenty of them

I searched the whole SFK and never found it at 3.1.3 patch, and guess it wouldnt even be worth it.

The large fragment drops from Shadowfang Darksouls (the guard-like worgen patrolling the hall behind the Baron's mess) and it might have been a harsh drop before, but possibly Blizz fixed it. I solo'ed the instance at lvl 37 just to get the doggone quest out of my questlog, and it dropped from the fifth darksoul I killed. like 20 minutes total on this part.

Descrizione

When demons of the Legion fall out of favor, their spirits are imprisoned within orbs and distributed to their mages and warlocks.

Many were carried by their servants in Azeroth. Even fragmented, they still possess the powers of the demons trapped inside.

The orb of Soran'ruk was broken into two pieces, one was further broken to be used by the acolytes of the Twilight's Hammer in Blackfathom Deeps. The other, larger piece, was possessed by a wizard in Shadowfang Keep. Find them and I can reform it.
