I held on to this quest until i needed to kill spiders for the Leg gathering quest out of Lakeshire... Another simple quest but dont just pick up and head right out...get the other quests around the area that you can get done while your out here...

Just did this as a 32 draenei warrior and got no faction at all.

the guard you gotta give the food to is the one that you walk by when entering redridge

I dunno if this is right, but they might be making a reference to a common economic quote: "there aint no such thing as a free lunch." I don't remember who said it but I'm positive of the wording.

Can you do me a favor? I've prepared a lunch for Guard Parker, but he's out on patrol...he's a big, strong Stormwind guard who can defend himself, but it's much too dangerous out there for a townsperson like me.

So if you deliver his lunch for me, then come back here and I'll give you a free lunch! Parker patrols the stretch of road leading to Duskwood.
