This guy is stuck just too far behind the wall to the right of the staircase. You can type /target ace and you'll find him, but he's too far away to throw the Cola at.

Epic fail on this quest.

Yup once u go down the stairs just go strait ahead hes infront of a generator type thing.

I looked there. I went to the other side of the wall and /target him and sure enough, he was INSIDE the wall. Was like that for 2 days for me until he did appear in the correct spot.

Hey guys? About Ace... He's in the mine, but he's not embedded in the wall. No, he's actually in front of a very large generator on the bottom floor of the mine (coordinates 57.0, 37.2, Volcano Erupt phase). As stated, walk down the stairs from the entrance, walk ahead and to the right, and there he is. Now, the built-in quest helper says otherwise, which is probably where a lot of you are getting confused. But this is one of those times where the quest helper is wrong.

As evident by the confusion and conflicting reports here, there seem to be two places where Ace may or may not be present during this quest. One is inside a wall where the quest arrow directs you, and the other is standing by the generator. If you don't see him by the generator, then you're probably an unfortunate victim of the bug. Just relog and wait awhile and (he did for me, anyways) he should appear in the correct spot. Hope this helps!
