Zelfrax is summoned by placing a torch at the end of the dock at Swamplight Manor in Dustwallow Marsh, through a quest called Cleansing With Hill, which is not yet in the wowhead database as of 11/15/07.

I immediately stealthed the first time I dropped the torch, and he wasn't summoned. Whatever the cause of him not being summoned, you can retry the torch 2 min later.

As soon as he is summoned you you have to wait before u can attack. If u stay a little farther back from where u summon him, u shouldn't aggro him when he finally comes..allowing u to sneak attack him.

For a Warlock.(like me) you CAN enslave him..its very fun.

When he is summoned, he yells:

Eh, I enslaved him, then fed him to the nearby guards.

This mob spawned for me yesterday in Dustwallow Marsh, while doing the quest "Cleansing Witch Hill", it looks pretty cool too. It's dark purple and it's more demonic than your average gargoyle.

I must admit I was a little disappointed with the end of this questline - the chain itself is a great idea and helps bring life to old content a lot of long-time players may have skipped, but I wish there was at least some post-quest dialog related to the land's demonic possession. Maybe it's because I'm level 80 and killed the mob in seconds, but the ending sure was abrupt.

Well, at least Jarl and Mordant can be happy together, arguing about frog legs and furniture. ;)

Sooo... buying a house in the middle of a swamp didn't bug this guy, giant frogs didn't bug this guy, and nearby spirits and corpses didn't bug this guy. Man, real-estate must've been a !@#$% even back then. o.O
