She has her own coin Dornaa's Shiny Copper Coin in the magical fountain of Dalaran. Interesting that unlike all other coins, her coin is "shiny".

Dornaa was introduced during The Burning Crusade and the brief mention about her role in the future made me hope that Blizzard would introduce her again as a grown woman with a significant NPC role in Wrath. Alas Blizzard dropped the ball on this one. The continuity of lore would be most interesting and perhaps someday it will be.

As fantom106 told before, there are 2 facts about this kid:

1st, she have great shamanistic powers

2nd, she will do something bad in the future

The quest line leaves no doubt about it!

How they will add a future Dornaa in the game?

Well, Blizzard had a really smart idea with the Caverns of Time, for adding in WoW legendary battles of the past. Will they add future battles as well?

3 are the possibilities about Dornaa:

1st: This is a Blizzard’s bluff. Nothing will happen and you will not see her again in other role except this.
2nd: You will be able to travel in the future via the Caverns of Time (or something like that) and correct what Dornaa did wrong.
and
3rd: After all these years, for first time in WoW history, Blizzard gave a sign about WoW 2 and a future Arthas.

We will see...

What really annoys me is that we can't keep her but in the Northrend childrens week we get an ugly little frog thing or wolf-kid.

The bronze dragonflight wouldn't attempt to stop her for just any bad reason. Even if in the future she kills both Thrall and Wrynn they wouldn't attempt to even stop her from that. The Bronze Dragonflight are there to keep the flow of time stable, not disrupt it. The only reason I can speculate that they would even consider harming the orphan is that they pose a threat to the stability of time itself in the future, perhaps their fixation with dragons causes them to inevitably disrupt Nozdormu or even destroy him somehow, perhaps enslave him? There couldn't be a bigger blow to the flow of time on Azeroth than destroying Nozdormu.

Though, of course, who's to say what timeline is the present time line? Our characters could all ready be in a past, with a future all ready pre-determined in the Caverns of Time. If the Bronze Dragonflight knows what she "may or may not" do, then there's a chance they have a pretty good idea of what happens in general. Whatever it is, this orphan causes much more trouble for the Bronze Dragonflight than most it seems. The reason that they send you back to make sure Arthas becomes the Lich King is to make sure that the past isn't drastically altered, so much so is the importance of time's integrity that they will make sure that Arthas' descent into madness is unhindered. Though this orphan apparently poses a threat to time itself, perhaps they are the past incarnation of the Infinite Dragonflight's matriarch? Perhaps they grow up to start the Infinite Dragonflight, and then send their agents into the past to interfere with the flow of time, and that's where we are now, going back in time to stop the Infinite Dragonflight, which is formed in the future, and sends agents into the past, so that we in the present must stop them, so we can get to the future unspoiled.

I wonder though, if they warp the past too much they may never even form the Infinite Dragonflight to begin with, which would never send any agents into the past to interfere with the past at all. The Bronze Dragonflight is obviously worried about this orphan causing major philosophical conundrums and headaches.

Here's my idea:

After World of Warcraft: Cataclysm comes out, both Dornaa and Salandria get their wishes turned into real life.

(But Dornaa's already did come true, as Arthas got attacked by Putress. Remember?)

Anyway, they will be part of a questline for the Caverns of Time, and for the first time it will be set way off into the future. Dornaa will have some purpose having to do with cross-breeding different species of dragonflight and bronze drangonflight, because the Cataclysm has made a great amount of dragons somehow die. Trying to preserve the rest of the world with her shamanistic power in the meanwhile, she turns to her old orphan friend Salandria to help keep an eye on the cross breeds. But since Salandria always wanted to own a REAL dragon, she steals a few eggs and whelplings, which were bronze/netherwing crossbreeds. She raises them secretly by herself, not caring about the other crossbreeds. She trains them with her amazingly skilled abilities until they're strong enough to take on some of the legendary people in the history of the game. She calls them Infinite Dragonflight, due to the infinite improbability of what they can do.

I'm sorry for the small wall of text. I'll let you figure out the rest.

Draenei Orphan: By the Light!
Dornaa stands and gapes in awe at the immense Dark Portal.
Alliance Soldier: For our children and the future of the Alliance! The Legion shall not prevail!

Auchindoun and the Ring of Observance

Draenei Orphan: Oh wow!
Dornaa begins to examine the stone edifice, and then touches it.
Draenei Orphan whispers: Is this where all of the adventurers come from? Help me.
Alliance Adventurer: Thank you for the summon, little one. My group left for the dungeon without me!
Alliance Adventurer: Boy, I could really use one of those gryphons right about now...
Alliance Adventurer: Is there a mage around here? I'm supposed to be bringing the food and water...
Alliance Adventurer: The next person who asks me for a potion is getting a knuckle sandwich. I quit alchemy!
Alliance Adventurer: Symbols of Divinity? Check. Candles? Check. Arcane powder, uh... arcane powder? Oh, no! This is the last time I offer to pick up reagents for anyone. Is there a vendor around here?
Draenei Orphan whispers: That was neat!

Dornaa gives her brother a big hug, and the two children begin to talk.

Zaladormu yells: WAIT!
Zaladormu yells: This girl has done nothing, and will not be held accountable for what she might do, or fail to do, in the future.
Zaladormu yells: Go in peace, child.
Draenei Orphan whispers: Scary!

The Seat of the Naaru

Dornaa walks slowly and turns in reverence as a blessing is bestowed upon her by O'ros.
Draenei Orphan whispers: O'ros says that he wants to talk with you.
Draenei Orphan: Tee hee, your mind-talk tickles. Thank you, O'ros! I promise to be good!

Call on the Farseer

Draenei Orphan: You're the man from my dream!

Looks like any Theories about her befriending or having anything to do with the Black dragon flight is no longer correct, they are basicly wiped out, and any remaining are hunted down in the rogue quest line.

Not to do with The infinite or Bronze dragonflight so i guess the speculation continues. Anyone else got any ideas about what the terrible thing she does in the future is? Ofcourse the bronze attacking her could just be a oversight by Blizzard on the whole fact they protect the past not change the future/present thing.....

For Dornaa I would give up my life of gallivanting and adventure.

I have a peaceful farm in the middle of the country. Sure it's not in great shape now, but we can fix it up. The neighbors are friendly (mind you, I'll need to get rid of the drunk in my pond) and the Dog will love her.

I can show her to farm and build character. And we're so close the the city, travel will be a breeze for vacations.

I'll have to look into the schools in the area, but I've heard good things.

As of 8.3, Dornaa is now probably in her late teens or even early twenties in 'game real time'. After all, it's been 13 years(!) since she first arrived.
I don't know about you, but I'm very curoiusly checking the game patches each and every year to see if this character's name shows up. It would be a payoff a long time coming, and honestly I would love to see World Of Warcraft willing to go that far to 'develop' an idea!
