You could speculate that his name come from 'rodent'. 'El' would be signify him being -the- rodent. Again, though, this is mere speculation.

His name literally means The Rodan. Rodan is a giant pterodactyl from Godzilla... That is true, but no, I'm not being serious.

I wish, and some day hope that he becomes a mage trainer, and teaches us all these amazing polymorph abilities. I would spend all day with critter morph, turning all the sheep in Elwynn into Giraffes.

This dude is trying to hint what he is into. Like in the show Diaries of a call girl with the eccentric guy that she finally gets comfortable enough to tell her what he wants.
"You are a chicken, a dirty chicken" "Now you are a dirty sheep, say you are a dirty sheep" "Now bleat like a sheep!"
This dude is just trying his best to tell Aurosalia what he wants without coming right out and saying it.

Not to raid on any parade, or okey since I love raiding maybe I do.
But isn't this what put blizzard in trouble in the 1st place?
A Female saying stop to a Male doing certain things.

Hopefully for Elrond, or okey Elrodan he stop's verry soon, before someone reports him and he gets banned.
Or since we got something similar in SW with a girl chasing a boy for stealing her Dolly (Pre Cataclysm), hopefully the results will be reversed in the next patch/expansion.

Here's an idea, she turns him into an Silvermoon Pig we can PetBattle and Capture into our petscreen as an public apology from Blizzard to all woman's all around da world :D
