Kormok is a two-headed ogre necromancer.

Bone Armor: Absorbs damage. Deals 100 damage to physical attackers and 100 damage to spell casters. Magic effect, can be dispelled. Unknown whether it can be spellstolen. Applied before encounter begins, periodically reapplied.

He periodically summons groups of three undead adds. There are two types - melee types with about 1500 health, and elite mage-types with about 5000 health that cast Frostbolt.

Kormok himself casts Shadow Bolt and melees. He is immune to all CC and movement imparing effects.

He is leashed halfway into Gandling's room, and therefore it is impossible to use the terrain in that room to kite him. It is, however, possible to kite him using the terrace in the Viewing Room.

Did him the other day as a level 70 hunter. He spawns immediately in front of the central altar/table that Frostwhisper paths around and his adds appear to spawn at the same point. You have a few seconds after he appears before you enter combat.

Most of the fight he spent half-way between his spawn point and the door. Although his first non-elite skeleton adds joined in the fight, the subsequent ones and the two elites just stood at their spawn point and did not aggro. After Kormok had died they remained there doing nothing, so I left them alone and completed the rest of the instance without them causing any problems.

Even though Scholomance is now a low 40s dungeon, it is still possible to summon him if you have the Braciere dell'Invocazione. He is still level 60, however, even though his drops are more appropriate for a level 40.

can anyone confirm that the ironweave pants is available in patch 4.3.4? ive been trying for over 100 times with no luck T_T

As of Patch 5.0.4 this NPC can no longer be summoned with the Brazier of Invocation and his loot is now unobtainable.

Kormok is once again in the game, and can be summoned with the Braciere dell'Invocazione in Raz Frostwhiper's room in Memory of Scholomance. This requires somebody with the Brazier, which is no longer obtainable.

Once again he can be summoned in Old Scholomance. Just tried it and it worked.

Killed him using the brazier i had stored in the bank tho he didn't drop any loot on the first kill only silver, probably just rng?

I have Brazier of Invocation (US) and can summon this guy as of patch 10.1.5 in dragon flight with the release of the vanilla version of this dungeon. Always active; btag (US) is Adveshan#1772. I'm also able to summon Isalien, Arena Spoils, Sothos and Jarien's Heirlooms, and Mor Grayhoof with the brazier and banner; their loot tables can be seen on classic wowhead or wowwiki. The summon items have a 10min cd, so it can take a while to farm out what you're after.

As of patch 10.1.5, Braciere dell'Invocazione will work now in the "old" Scholomance to summon Kormok in Ras Soffiogelo's room, but he does NOT drop a Pietra del Flagello dell'Invasore.

I need "Blade of Necromancy"
Im EU Alliance but it doesnt matter because we can do a Raid in legacy.
