I'm still wearing mine lol.Has 120 secondary stats vs 80 or 90 that I'd get from some other neck.
I've tanked all SL Mythic instances with guild groups, who are not holding back, and I've yet to encounter any actual threat "issues". I'm a bear. Just to make it clear, I'm obviously not wearing the HoA anymore. When a DPS goes full single target on a particular trash mob, I might have to focus on it and maybe taunt, but thats not an issue, thats how tank gameplay is supposed to work. Everything instantly snapping to you is boring. Tanks are not meant to simply be DPS classes that run in front, you are supposed to actually .. tank.If you pull 3 groups and then complain that you can't hold threat on all of them, maybe only pull one or two groups instead? Most DPSers don't benefit from such large pulls much anymore anyway.
if you literally just press your buttons as a tank spec, you will have threat, not sure which players need the extra help there.
I must admit i've been losing agro on a few pulls here and there as well (I'm prot warrior). Guess with better gear comes better threat generation.
Obviously an oversight, there is no way bliz wants the BiS item to be last xpac, even for mythic 0.So, enjoy the mistake? They will be patching it soon.I've only toe-dipped, but it seems the Divine Toll covenant is meant to address threat as it has quite a snap effect when I pop it to start big pulls.
How is it that its week 2 and this is still an issue? i say all tanks go on a strike no dungeons for a day will wake devs up.
I've noticed that on my DH I have some pretty serious threat issues, especially at the start of pulls. I run almost exclusively with guild groups and even without DPS running in and blowing up the pull before I can press a button I find that most of the time at least one mob instantly peels off of me and requires taunting. I didn't have threat issues in BFA, and this explains why that might've been.Maybe they could roll this threat buff forward into SL? It's more of an annoyance than anything but I don't like feeling the need to scramble to grab threat when I'm the one engaging, especially at the cost of globals that could be used on defensives.edited for clarity
Tank threat is completely fine... except for the 2 specs that do ridiculously low upfront damage.*!@#ing do something about Druids and DKs needing 5 MDs to keep up with the threat of a Holy Priest already ffs. This has been an issue for these particular 2 specs in BFA already. Give them some @#$%ing burst aggro spell or !@#$ing increase their threat levels instead of trying to tune them via a generic threat multiplier that also has to apply to threat monsters like DH or Pally.
Prot Warrior here. I've not had any systemic issues holding threat in SL heroics and mythics, even with well geared damage players. Are other people?
I don't know I've ripped aggro too often now in m0 - on even geared tanks. it isn't very fun. they may wish to tune that some more.
remember back in legion when we(tanks) had 900%......
