Levelling professions is a giant mess due to the complexity of choices (particularly with regards to the new 'upgrade' token thingies). That said, I don't see how Blizz can make it simpler.
Am enjoying getting the perspective of someone coming back, their thoughts and concerns. I hope Ghostcrawler does decide to stay and raid in Shadowlands.
glad I’m not the only one—if anything, validated by a former dev is having the same issues I am! I’m likely far more casual, but returning status is a lot harder to work with (valid), though I wish there was clearer direction.
I have taken off playing since June and I felt kind of similar. I decided to just start leveling a new character and work on clearing out bags or key binding all the ability changes later.
ok i think you gave this guy already too much attention.why his opinion is more relevant than other players'?"Former Lead Systems Designer" my gluteus.
I think Danny the Street should get equal time.
I find it very cool that Greg Street is taking up wow again. I can see that he, as a former blizzard dev, can bring alot of experience and good advice to the game (if he has somesort of contact with the new team at blizzard, I certainly hope so). Am I the only one who thinks this is just cool to have a former developer playing WoW ? I was pleasantly surprised to be honest.
Contrary to what the moderators here think, I still say that there should be a new tag added to articles that don't deal specifically with updates to the game or its gameplay. Things like commentary, art, and other things related to the overall WoW or Blizzard community should get their own tag. Don't know how commenting that an article seems to be miscategorized 'isn't relevant' to the article, but I'll keep repeating it on any article like this that's tagged as 'live' because IMO, it's wrong.
I feel the same way as Ghostcrawler... Having left Everquest for WOW at beta July 2004, and finally stopping just before Legion and now coming back, it has been strangely difficult. The game continues to get exponentially more complicated, and trying to remember everything and learning all of the new content has been harder than expected. All Im saying is take a few years off and then hop on your fav character...like the real world, everything changes. Only time and a lot of playing can fix it.
One thing Exile's reach scenario did for me was that I missed class quest how Warlock/hunters/mages etc got their spells/talents/pets.Felt so fun getting them through a quest again instead of handed to you from start. Wish they had something like that again for higher levels aswell. But to add to topic I agree it should be some mid level tutorial aswell. Maybe a reason to return to exile's reach to help old friends and learn new mid level talents?
