TIL: Feral and Enhance doesn't even count as a raid spec. *I mean seriously, you can rate SUBTLETY that was completely destroyed after Uldir and nobody plays it (it's in worse state than Demonology in HFC-WOD when Blizzard outright said "we don't want you to play Demonology"), but you can't rate Feral or Enhancement?
Rankings shouldn't exist. It all comes down to the player playing that class.
The description of Fire Mages is...insane.
If this is written by THE Tettles - of RtWF!/other stream fame - what is he basing his findings on...?
I'm fine being subpar.
"Feral Druid is a spec that I have trouble to place just based off the fact that there are very few Ferals who play the spec at a high level."As a feral who's keyed +15s in time in season 3, and completed AoTC for the eternal palace, I can pretty safely say that there are Ferals out there who clear high level content (probably some who do stuff even higher than what I do) Yes, it's true that feral isn't as good as some classes -- I'm fine with that, even. But it's most certainly not so much worse as to not deserve any sort of a ranking."Just know there are very limited melee spots in a raid, and Feral typically has a negative perception."It's not too had to figure out where that negative perception comes from. A lot of people read articles like this and then think that it applies across all content. That if something isn't ranked, it must not be good, period. As an after thought, I noticed that the utility baseline skills (such as Typhoon and Mass entanglement) were listed for balance, but not mentioned for feral. All druids can use those -- and they are great skills.
Feral "typically has a negative perception" precisely because of articles like this one. If this view is continuously proliferated, ferals will continue to have a hard time getting into PUGs, whether it's raids or M+. I've played boomie in M+ in all of BFA because it's a hundred times easier to get a group, but in the key range I do (up to +17-18), feral would frequently be the better spec to play.
This is also looking strictly at dps numbers because Shammys have tremor totem and wind rush totem which multiple others have stated are going to be key for some fights as the rooms are large and you need to cross them fast, also a mechanic that tremor can counter, yet according to tettles shamans and "their general lack of raid utility" means they are not a good dps for this raid content. these guides need to be written by someone who doesn't just look at the dps numbers but everything a class/spec can bring to the raid. but as always its Player>Spec.
As WW main so rip me , so no mythic progress this tire i think
Didn't windwalker get single target buffs?
Pure clickbait full of random guessing and overall lack of knowledge of most classes while abusing token words like "insane" at every opportunity.Reducing Destruction's description to "yeah Havoc gives it insane 2 target cleave" is simply laughable. Take a look at the Flashpoint trait, then at the design of most bosses and then think again if Fire is going to be ahead of Destruction. And as much as I love Demonology, there's no way it'll be that high. It'll be decent in Hivemind at most, but still severely behind Destruction.
The hatred againts enhancement (i'm playing one) and feral always amaze me..
