Ok, now this is an epic gamer moment.
Most likely going to be the case considering that most end-tier bosses had a secret Mythic-only phase in the past few years; especially end-expansion bosses. Looking forward to it!
Thank god, judging by the Heroic N'zoth PTR tests phase 1 is boring as hell. Finally a boss is getting the Gul'dan treatment where a really boring phase 1 is totally not present in the mythic version of the fight. If only they did the same for Azshara though.
think there's a component of the fight you might be missing in the articleConvergenza#changelog
I thought this was already assumed.
Of course he does.
i see this patch beeing at least 8-9 months long so i think for world first guilds should progress around 8-10 weeks
I'm not against differences in Mythic, as long as there's no extra story bits.Usually only about 1-2% of all players kill the final boss on Mythic, so it's quite unfair is some story part is locked behind Mythic. I'm not particularly found of these changes, but as long as it's only mechanical differences, I'm not gonna complaint. When ther's a whole new boss like with sinestra or Ra-den, that much worse, but it was also pretty frustrating not knowing what the hell happened to Cho'gal in the end of Highmaul until I found out he appeared as an extra phase in Mythic.I was really worried that Sargeras itself would show up in Argus. If only Muthic raiders had actually killed him, that would have been outrageous. Imagine waiting over 20 years to take on that guy and not being able to just because you don't raid Mythic, that would have been a shame. Luckly, they only made it so Argus got all red and empowered by Sargeras, but Sargeras himself didn't show until the cinematic like in heroic.
The original Stage 3 description isn't included in this post. When 8.3 first hit the PTR, it read:Stage 3 - Convergence"N'Zoth projects his insidious mind into reality, reaching out from the dark depths of Ny'alotha to corrupt the very World Soul of Azeroth."LinkThat important underlined part was removed from the journal, so that's probably what happens in the secret phase.
I wonder if the secret phase will include the people's decision to keep N'zoth's Gift? That'd be interesting to me. Maybe something like turn one of 'em into a raid boss that they HAVE to control or wipe the team for not serving or some interesting shenanigans.I know, it probably won't be that, but it'd certainly be interesting to include those that kept N'zoth's Gift vs. Those who removed it.
Interesting
