Good answers, imo.
Watched this this morning with breakfast. Good interview
All that gear and the audio sounds like someone playing the kazoo in the house next door...
Always like Bay/preach interviews
Rip factions merging, that's a huge oof moment after 8.2.5.
how about void elves and lightforged being DK's....kinda impossible. Expected a bit harder questions from preach.
Welp I said that for good or ill I’d take down the torch for faction loosening after Blizzcon and here I am doing just that. It was now or never. It’s never. Now back to the game I know, and I’m still looking forward to shadowlands!
heres what I would like to see, a system similar to building the argent tournament grounds or the unlocking of AQ.Some way that the covenant gets unlocked by the hard core players but those starting later in the expansion still get the benefits. Versus having to grind everything from square one if you start 6 months into the expansion.
“What’s different this time?”“We are... oh wait... *touches ear*, I’m being told nothing is different, scratch that. Kill him, Shaw!”
Hopefully they do something meaningful to make 8.3 not last forever, too.
I love that a lot of streamers take the time to do interviews like this to flesh out some of the details on new content! Good job guys!
I'm surprised there hasn't been more interviews. Last time weren't there more or am I thinking of some media event?
Good interview- I'm glad he's answering some questions I had about the expansion.
They're aware that when there's a simple choice, there's always a mathematical right answer. Where they think they're succeed is that it's a bucket of many choices. When a covenant consists of a range of perks, a couple of active abilities and Soulbinds which each have their own range of perks within them, we get to a point where we think there isn't a clear right answer. Broadly, we think there's isn't one, but in specific situations there will probably be a best choice." I'm digging this response. I was worried about Covenants, and I still am, but if there is enough to deter people from being able to switch Covenants easily and more than enough aspects of the covenants to balance them out, it will help people not regret choosing one Covenant over another. If they do, they are still able to switch, but I'm wondering what the price of that will be. But deterring changes of covenants on a per fight basis is a good thing to me. The system sounds like a meaningful choice that will impact the game, and of course mathematically one will be better for a specific class/spec but as long as they are all generally balanced and even it becomes more of a preferential choice. Just have to wait for more info and see how it turns out.
Great interview
Nice interview
I like this honestly, but do hope we get a change to the factions eventually...
That covers a few things in more detail than just their first intro of the idea yesterday, Clarification is always great!
