Where do I download the PTR for Nzoth. I have a PTR but it takes me to BFA I want to check out the NZOTH PTR not the BFA PTR. Thanks in advance for helping me get the NZOTH PTR download.
That datamined map is what I was hoping to see from at least one old god. Not just an encounter, but a zone. We actually run around on their carapace doing quests, and the raid is just blasting a hole in the body so we can go inside and try to kill it from the inside out. It'd be such a cool, unique aesthetic for a zone in WoW.
I understand some people's disappointment. In fact, Al'Akir in ToFW and Deathwing himself at the last fight of DS are the same or even bigger size in comparizon to N'Zoth's model here. I hope it's fight would be similar to DW one, with more than one 'platforms' so we could hit his tentacles and all.
Ok considering that they're practically the same size in the size comparison pic, N'Zoth is tiny considering he is fully released, and the other two were just small bits poking out of their prisons
I hope we get to see that map in full during 8.3 because holy hell! that is the scale I was expecting for n'zoth not the thing in the screenshots since its the sized of trapped old gods which does not scream unleashed eldritch demon from beyond the great dark veil.
Tiny model. The old god fights are an opportunity for them to make a really huge, unconventional raid encounter (lets be honest their whole body would be the size of the entire raid) so having them reduced to tank n spank proportions like all the other raid bosses in game is disappointing imo.
I really dont want to go back to kung fu panda or camel land... but ill make an exception for this great grape.
There are some people complaining about his size, as if they want a boss fight with nothing but a wall of purple, undulating mass of flesh that covers the entire screen.
it's actually not that big. Or at least I doesn't feel anything given that this is a fully unleashed Old God.Just slightly bigger than Yogg who is still imprisoned. Now that picture where he is attached to Nazjatar is something else entirely. Seeing that map portion dwarfing next to him is something else entirely.I mean they teased his size in the Warbringers episode where he literally towered over the Black Empire, now they want me to believe that he's no bigger than maybe Stormwind keep?Add this ton the already data-mined conversation where the main characters confirm his defeat, and this whole thing just fees like MEH. The actual models, zones and color pallets look great, don't get me wrong ... but the scale of it ... not impressive. I was expecting more from a released Old God then a one done deal Patch.
My name is N'Zoth I have many eyeballs.
There is a cave in the Emerald Dream after you beat Xavius with a void flower in it if you click on it while equipped or xmoged to the shadow priest artifact. The blade will mention the prison of N'Zoth and how it is failing.
The model is VERY disappointing. Not nearly as unique and inspired as C'thun or Yogg'saron. This is just an eye squid with a mouth on top of its head. And he's not even the size of Yogg.. Yogg is bigger and yet Yogg was nearly entirely buried underground. Also, look at the top of N'zoth's skin, it's completely blurry and not crisp at all. It looks stretched, and the entire model simply looks like a copy of the Ozumat one. All of the other old gods had entirely unique models. Also, I want to add that the animations for N'zoth are unfortunately low quality as well. The eyes move a bit and .. that's it, really. Meanwhile Yogg is completely tweaking out, every mouth moves with each its own breath. Why aren't we seeing some kind of improvement here? Yogg was done ten years ago, and for some reason he looks better than N'zoth in almost every way.Again, Blizzard disappoints in their laziness and their 'maximize profit' attitude for BfA.
Giant angry prolapsed a-hole with teeth and eyes to boot. Why did the Old Gods have such gaping maws. Did they use them to feed, or?
