Firelands Raid Uses Flex Mode, Not 10/25 Player Raid Sizes, in Patch 8.2.5

Firelands is no longer separated into 10 and 25 sizes, now only supporting Normal and Heroic difficulties. Blizzard made it flex mode so the more people you have in the raid, the more loot you get. While solo transmog farming runs may be slower as a result, mount farmers can now run the raid
twice
per week, on Normal and Heroic.
This change was not mentioned in the official 8.2.5 Patch Notes -- thanks to Wowhead user
Lucrom
for pointing this out to us!
Similar treatment was given to Ulduar in Patch 7.3.5 when it became a Timewalking Raid, and Firelands will follow suit later in Patch 8.2.5, as a new raid for
Cataclysm Timewalking
.

However according to the blue’s post. These raids since they are flex, should drop 20 people’s worth of loot, which is lower than what the prior player cap of the higher difficulties were. Thus given the blue’s example you WILL get less loot as stated on paper than you would have less week. Yet even on top of that my own experience has shown me (in combination with other’s off comments), that even then the volume of loot is still less than that and more closer to the lower bound (10 man, since 1<10). I remember having that problem about Black Temple after 7.1.5 turning it into a timewalking raid. A change that predated the legacy loot system of 7.3.5.
And even if my own personal experiences can be swept aside, there is still the fact that since it is a flex raid now it will default to 20 people’s worth of loot instead of what it usually was (which was 25).
You are completely overlooking the fact that you now can run Firelands twice each week and get loot off each boss twice; once in Heroic and once in Normal.
I just went into Firelands (120 toon, solo) set to Heroic and killed Beth'tilac. I got 6 pieces of loot, all classified as Heroic at ilvl 110. I then went back out, set it to Normal (reset the instance just to be sure) and went back in. I again was able to and killed Beth'tilac and got 5 piece of loot all classified as Normal ilvl 108. So in total, i received 11 pieces of loot off Beth'tilac this week. Looking at prior, I could only get loot off Beth'tilac once regardless of the difficulty and/or size i set it to. I know for a fact you were not getting 10+ pieces of loot off a single 25H boss.
I know that, read the 38th post (it was my last paragraph, last edit was made 7 minutes before your post), and I believe I mentioned that I think in one other post. However for those of us that have run the instance on and off over the years for both difficulties given the prior system, we have likely either exhausted one mode entirely (rendering running both worthless now), or we have sparing drops in both which will now take longer given that 20% less loot will drop now (loot designed for 20 people now not 25).
As I repeat, I have read everything you all have read. I know about legacy loot, I know that I can run it twice a week. That doesn’t matter and those aren’t the sources of the problem. And my complaints are only with Black temple, Ulduar and Firelands.

The loot is different between heroic and normal. The items that drop have different appearances. If you're going after normal appearances, being able to run heroic is of no use to you, and vice versa.
Nice for mount hunters, though.

There is literally nothing fun police about this. The exact same thing happened to Black Temple and Ulduar when they were updated for Timewalking. That's it.

UGH that makes transmog runs so much more tedious.
Why blizz, why?
Because they hate us.

Bad move blizzard. I'd rather not have it timewalking.
