Not enough information really. I could see happen that only people who dont have bfa get the promotion as bfa comes with an level boost, and if u cant get bfa because u already have it you dont get the boost either. I don't dislike the idea tho, i would love to have a boost for when i reach 60 and i may become a bit bored with classic i would maybe play some more retail and after classic i dont really want to level in retail (lol)I dont think it will bring much people that came back for classic in particular as they stopped playing retail for reasons i suspect are still part of retail for them. But it doesn't hurt at all (wich is a bit sad because basically it's admitting leveling is pretty bland in retail) Here's to hoping it gives boost even if u already have BfA
I'm interested, kind of..
They removed this post from facebook page. Fake maybe?

I didnt read all the comments (yet) but correct me if i am wrong..someone mentioned that it takes less time to level max on retail than classic...k....you do realize that there are many 60's already in classic, entire raid teams of them. Granted, they are try-hards, and yes they grinded most of it and did things to speed things along, extremely prepared and practiced...but still. This idea of oh my god classic takes weeks/months to level to 60...is utter crap. Maybe YOU take weeks/months to 60, but surely not everyone, and it is entirely possible. If you say well retail 120 is faster...when was last time you leveled from 1 to 120? its much much faster than it ever was before, but if you look at 60's they hit that in 4 or 5 days /played...how much "faster" can you hit 120 than that? esp casually? isnt it about the same amount of time?if you try-harded and no-lifed BFA 1-120, i gurantee you wont be faster than 4 days, and if you do..congrats? it wont be a mindblowing difference, the early levels fly fast, sure you can hit 60 or 70 in 24 hours, maybe extreme 80...but that leaves 80-120...so looking at MAYBE 3 days if you really good. so dont act like retail and classic are far apart as far as leveling goes...this is 2019. Plus addons, guides, and knowledge, the retail game post cata has been around for almost 10 years now, its just the same as retail being around now for 15 years...its super fast, if you want it to be. I am not saying everyone can do those things i mentioned, i mean sure the average player is still leveling, but on a pure speed run of both BFA and classic..its pretty close...it really is.
is this true or not. please confirm. plenty of people already 60 in classic i see nothing from them.
Thinking the classic hype will die down a little soon seeing as people are already downing raid bosses XD.
is this only for returning players? :/You had one job Blizzard, and that was for me to improvbe graphics to BFA levels (Models EA for druid), but honestly, if this is only for returning players, I think this is redicilous and a stab at your current retail players that stayd loyal and played your game legitly through subscription... lol
Why would they improve the graphics in classic when they said from the beginning that the point of classic was to recreate the vanilla experience as closely as possible?
Because graphics litterally means vanilla gameplay right? I mean, Graphics do not affect gameplay. You didnt answer the seconth. What do we BFA players get who, legitly payd 1000's of euros more then all these 'returning' pserver players? I mean... If this is marketing, it Certainly is bad markething imho.
I... am reserving judgment. My first instinct is that this is too good to be true.
This is actually good news. Good move Blizz. maybe once i get bored of Classic i may try and play BFA again. Got pretty burnt out..
Mmm, I see there was some doubt about it actually giving a level boost to those who already have bfa expansion, but honestly for someone like me it has little utility: I have 47 level 120s and each tw event I level more in order to get some decent amount of kills for timereaver, should hit 7k (still not a lot) when I got even 2nd account all to 120, and so I don't see how a boost helps me when I really need to level with tw to make any sort of progress, still have a boost that came from 2nd bfa expansion I got that I haven't decided yet who to use it on.
Returning after a long break and not owning BfA, I'd be happy to give it a try if I get it for free, and maybe farm tokens in it.
I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up just being free BfA (which includes one free boost), and not a free character boost for people who already have BfA and thus already had that boost - which I am totally fine with by the way, and love the promotion, just attempting to set expectations before people are back here in a month saying WE WERE PROMISED A CHARACTER BOOST :)
