They should give free lvl 60 boost in classic to those who reached lvl 120 in BFA instead. That would be fair.
Nothing here is carrying over, so why would anything else you listed? Getting 60 on Classic would do something completely separate and unrelated on Retail. It doesn't share anything, it doesn't carry anything over, and it doesn't give any sort of advantage. It's basically giving you free Blizz Cash for hitting 60 and then purchasing the expansion and a 110 boost with that cash. That's it.
It is so depressing to see all the Classic fanbois getting so upset for Blizzard to make a nice promotion to get new Classic players to atleast try out BfA without forcing it.And no, Retail isn't dead at all...And Classic not even been out for 1 week, give it few more weeks and things likely balance itself out.Nonetheless I don't care if Classic get popular because it pays sub for retail anyway and keeps all the retail haters out of retail. So in the end it creates a better community on retail and most importantly, (suck it up) funds retail which clearly you all hate.ggwp Blizzard.
A lot of people dont play bfa just because retail hate, but since this gonna be free it wont hurt to play a while and see how things really are. I also know people who play classic and do not own bfa but they didnt want to spend money on it.Its a win win situation for blizzard and for players.Pls let it happen blizzard
Naturally, the very notion of giving things away for free made Activision burst into Blizz HQ like a SWAT Team.
If I had to guess it was a PR mistranslation of something along the lines of "And after you reach level 60 why not try BfA with a free 110 level boost included"
Also, they seem to have hotfixed cat form movement speed when indoors (it now changes to 100% upon entering indoors, and then changes back to the talented 130% upon leaving)
Hahahaha, desperate much?
I still want any collectibles earned in Classic to unlock in the collection in retail. Nostalgia is nice and all but if I can't carry any kind of progress over to BfA it's not even worth it to me to level in Classic.
This is actually pretty brilliant. I think it may encourage more people from retail to play Classic, and thus backfire after they discover how much more rewarding of an experience it is. I have no desire to return to retail, save to finish up a storyline at the end or something - but really now that’s not even necessary since they post all the cutscenes on YouTube lol.
OMEGA
Jesus, people &*!@# that blizz puts something on the shop and calls It a cash grab. Now people &*!@# that blizz is giving something away. So what if someone rushes through the game to earn a boost. How would that affect you? It doesn’t. How would a free boost player affect you in retail? It doesn’t. Just play the version of the game you like and move along. I happen to like both.
