We experienced a drop of players - particularly on Mograine, Firemaw, and Golemagg. Those realms have recovered now but it does unfortunately mean that those who were disconnected are now queued to get back into those realms.

We know many of you are eager to play and we realise how frustrating this experience is, to that end we’re continuing to monitor the status of all EU Classic realms.

Commento di FatherfuryThis happened on Oceanic Arugal PvP realm as well, huge amounts of both factions got dropped out and then pushed back to the end of the 10k queue. Absolutely brutalCommento di Skylarcgot dropped from Shazzra, 3h queue expected, 1 of my friends had to continue to level because he just has a few days of work. my other 2 friends are still waiting for me, just leveling professions and getting fightpoints.... i am very disappointment how this turned out for us. we have been looking forwards to this sense the announcement and we all took 1-2 weeks of work to spend time together and play the game. Instead, people think like: "Well, if I join another medium server, then the population will be too low." That's funny because a medium server today is equivalent to a full server back in Vanilla. Allow servers to handle every single person that tries to connect, via layering (as Blizzard has stated, their servers can handle this) - which would make for a smooth launch, but the server would never stabilize and would always require layering to function.

Launch with way too many servers (not a cheap thing by Blizzard, they can literally just split a server into several different names at no higher cost or effort) - which would also make for a smooth launch, but a ton of servers would end up dead before long.
