Nice.
Good good. No changes.
It seems a bit more likely that didn't allocate resources to get it done than the "authentic experience" rationalization, no ?

Yay, so no one can copy my unique* talent build!* everything in Assassination for extra Assassinations
lol just say that u too lazy to implement it :)
Actually we need that. Nostalgy intensifies.
On one level its a shame since that probably means we won't be able to post as our Classic Characters on the blizzard forums but at the same time its pretty nice they're keeping things true to vanilla in that way.
THIS IS AWSOME... it is so sad to see that so much info can be taken from outside the game... stuff should stay and happen inside the game... that is where everything should be!Call me old minded... call me close minded... but in the real world stuff needs to be fast and now... but in an MMORPG stuff can be slow and late...
The fact that we might actually get armories if TBC servers happen actually makes me excited to play Classic. I like being able to show off the work I put into my characters. When it comes to retro MMOs this is also something Oldschool Runescape is lacking although it's technically accurate to the time period since the game in 2007 only had high scores for stats and didn't implement the Adventurer's Log profile pages until 2009.
Just like to point out. The "classic experience" will only exist for players that are not planning to go in with large groups of friends. If you are planning to go in, and already know a bunch of people who are playing why they hell, would you go out of your way to meet new people. People already complain about effort. and It will be no different in classic. Your approach and objective of a game are what makes it fun. You don't play Starcraft to get a dose of fantasy for example. Same as, if you don't play a game for fun in the first place, you won't have fun.Stop and ask yourself, what those objectives are and what your approach is. You will find you can have fun in a lot of places you didn't think about by doing so. A big problem with Live is it doesn't force you to go out of your way to have fun or do things, it relies on the player being self-motivated, and actually putting goals in.All I'm saying is, if you want this classic experience, your either gonna have to ditch your current friends, go out of your way to actually communicate, or be completely new to the game entirely. Reality is, the Original classic experience is gone so a little addition, here and there to make things smoother for the majority really shouldn't hurt., and I think that something like armory where you have to go out of your way to access in the first place isn't at all harmful. The only people that are going to use it are higher-end players rushing for Classic "World firsts".
yeah why actually expend some effort eh
