Finally some changes
I think everyone can agree that Azshara has turned out much more difficult than anyone anticipated: Limit 300+ pulls and only 60%, Method are 200+ pulls only 60%, they're not even close - not a single guild entered phase 4 yet. The guild is not even close to killing the boss, and could be at least 400 pulls away depending on the difficulty of phase 4. With that said, I am happy Azshara is this difficult: she is a major lore character, and, it has made the mythic race between Method, Limit, and the Chinese guilds entertaining, and their pain is my gain.
Also, slightly off topic here:What happens if Method and Limit don't kill the boss before July 31st? I know Limit was only scheduled until July 31st, so I wonder if either guild will be able to extend their stay at the location, or whether they would be forced to return home?That's going to be quite a dilemma if the race lasts for too long.

Have either Limit or Method done a reclear to try and increase the amount of Mythic items equipped or are they still just bulldozering as world first guilds normally do?I know this fight was definitely over-tuned but I wonder if Blizzard are going a little too hard too soon with their nerfs. The historic intention of final bosses is that they don't fall in the first week. The idea of gearing up to overcome is still suppose to exist all the way to the final boss.Admittedly I don't know how impactful these changes will be once they are all applied along with the Enrage change that is coming today, but if the culmination of these changes results in this transition not being tough anymore and guilds almost sleeping through it, then the balance has swung too far the wrong way. As some of you have pointed out, Redbull are paying a lot of money to house this streaming event. While this may be leaning too far to tinfoil-hat territory, I'm concerned that Redbull may start affecting encounter design because the "free" publicity they are providing Blizzard is "taking too long" to conclude, then we've got a real issue to complain about.
It seems like they are missing something. Blizz is perhaps trying to give them a hint with the nerf. I think the main mechanic they're not dealing with is the stacking arcane debuff. They're probably supposed to rotate people to drop the debuff as they DPS the boss. Something like that I think. I don't know. The debuff is just a hard stop and that's what kills them when they have to do the dance and have high stacks of the debuff.Seems like boss DPS isn't as important as stacks.
Ahhh it was Heroism that caused runes to be off-screen for my character. Who knew? 😃
