I always thought it was weird only to grind reputation for part 2, now it does make more sense, a little (I would add the campaigns of nazjatar and mechagnome and the war campaign of this patch, it would be consistent with the first part, to me at least, as we are going to do them anyways).
I would not be surprised besides the exploration and reputation that the questing in both areas will be added to the pathfinder, it was in Legion on the Broken Shore. I don't complain when it comes to the pathfinders to fly. I find it to be far cheaper than paying gold for each toon to fly, remember only one toon has to meet all of the requirements to fly. I have loved the idea of the pathfinders to fly, it only needs to be done once per account, and I think for BFA since the AH mount costs 5 million gold, that if there was no pathfinder the gold price per toon would be $200k per toon for the toon to fly, so be thankful for the pathfinders and by the way it is only a game.
The more this flying-behind-time-gates goes on, the less I stay subscribed. There's just no fun in it anymore for me.

I should be excited but with how boring this expansion has been for me I feel completely unmotivated. I've got one timecard left I'm saving for 8.2 but this whole "Let's make them wait six months then wait more as they grind reps" thing was tiresome when WoD came out. Thankfully legion wasn't too terrible but it was still something that felt more like a chore than "Hey guess what we can fly!". I know no one at blizzard will ever read this post but for me flying wasn't just something to avoid irritating terrain or mob daze spam but a way to tactically approach a situation as well as "Oh I wanna go there that area looks cool for some RP!". Zandalar is an amazing looking zone but I despised having to do anything in it because of the constant "run here, now run back, now fly here now fly back" and that was JUST to disenchant some damn gear! On the Alliance terrain wasn't too much of an issue barring the occasional "where the hell is the trail up" but horde was a constant ugh fest.
