That whole place is too hard. Even Uunat heroic is really tough.
I am very glad the bosses are hard, if everyone could kill them in a day there would be nothing to do until 8.2 ! Now I can watch the streamers, good entertainment :)
One thing that's off, crushing doubt goes out every 45 seconds on mythic, not every 60. it's 60 seconds on non mythic (this week, last week it was cast every 40 seconds in all difficulties so it was actually nerfed from last week on non mythic difficulties)
Now if only they can spawn us closer to Uu’nat. The worst thing about CoS is the walk of shame back to Uu’nat after dying.
Limit should use warlocks... they do more dps than shadow priests and cant wait method to kill this boss before limit :D
I'm glad it's super hard, although it is very likely their health pools are overtuned -- if a world first guild stacking 8+ SPriests is hitting enrage timers, well, there's no hope for the rest of us who have like 1 SPriest and 2 Warlocks in the guild. Also, the fight looks really well-designed. Hopefully Uu'nat is fun and tuned properly as well. CoS could be like Trial of Valor, a small but well-made and sufficiently challenging raid.
I mean, yea they hit enrage timer, but that was with pretty much half their dps dead with a quarter of the fight left almost.
Many Priests, handle it!
Boss doesn't die in one day and people already saying its overtuned... Geez.
I did the LFR version of the raid (yeah I'm a casual scrub), and I got to say the place is definitely really nice! I enjoyed the fights, and after wiping 5 times on the first boss and 3 on the second we managed to beat it. It actually required some sort of coordination and basic understanding of mechanics due to insta-wipe stuff like the damage bubble. It wasn't the usual LFR experience, and the last fight with the use of the artifacts makes it really enjoyable and dramatic. As a casual, I approve of this raid.
Sure glad to be a melee player once more, love all those raids and fights that make people take more than few necessary melee.Atop of being punished heavily by mechanics, there is no world where we can even get close to 36k dps. Well, time to be benched once again.
The game could do with a Kerafyrm, not necessarily the Restless Cabal, but it would be nice to see stuff live longer than a week and pose a longer struggle for the top tier.
Bet you'll find there was subtle overtuning that gets ninja nerfed now it's live in EU so the world first race is fair!
I think a big part of the current balance is the difference between release timers for EU and NA. I assume blizzard are aware of this issue and this is a way to fix it considering the raid only has two bosses, so the decision is probably to make it impossible for 1-2 days so the teams can get some practice in and then deploy a hotfix sometime in the next week so everyone can compete at an even level. I really don't see any other arguments by blizzard for having a 8minute enrage timer and the top teams in the world class stacking so hard and not even coming close.
This boss needs at least 50% nerf or no average mythic guild can kill it ever. Not everyone can class stack like those top10 guilds, and tuning should account for that. When single shadow priest or warlock replaces 2.5 BM hunters, there's something wrong with class balance and encounter tuning...
