What do you like to spend your gold on? What's the most expensive thing you've ever bought? Have you ever gambled with an unclaimed container on the Black Market?1. BoE for raid and mounts.2. Redini della Tigre Spettrale Rapida, it was in 2014 and I buy it for 850 000g.3. Yes, it was first and last purchase from Black Market. I got a leather legs for Hunter, yes, so.
I've definitely invested a lot of time and gold before into things I thought would pan out, but I never took the time to research heavily enough into the market I was going for. Back in Wrath when I started playing the game, my dad and I accidentally crashed the market of Eternal Shadow on Duskwood because we bought too many and reposted all at once- we were trying to get rid of it for months after that.I have a hard time saving up a larger sum of gold, even though I'd really like the Brutosaur. It's been said plenty of times before in the comments before mine, but if spending gold helps you enjoy the game, then spend the gold! I spent 300k to be able to afford a race change for a roleplaying character into something I'm now having a blast with, and at the end of the day that's what matters to me. I'm still going to try for the Brutosaur, though!
i love buying mounts, minipets, mog gear, etc. all the nice shiny things to complete my collection. also bought tons of overwatch lootboxes and nearly all special "bundles" blizz could throw at me for hearthstone, overwatch, wow, hots, diablo etc. soooo many bundles. all paid for via gold. was marvelous. good times. :D
The most expensive thing I've ever spent gold on in the game was a TCG mount from the AH.
I spend my gold on transmog and mounts, and the most expensive thing ive bought was a spectral tiger
Unfortunately, I'm not very good at making gold. I mostly save it. When I do spend it, it's on mounts and/or pets. The Tundra Mammoth was probably my most expensive purchase.
I've mostly used alt armies on the mission tables in WoD and Legion to acquire money. In WoD, I bought 11 TCG mounts, passing only on the Amani Dragonhawk because I thought 75k was nowhere near worth it for a lame dragonhawk. Ah, the later regret I had. I ended that expansion with multiple gold caps.In Legion, I got gold cap once again before spending it all on two mounts - a Swift Razzashi Raptor that made its way onto the BMAH, and the Brutosaur mount on BFA launch day.Nowadays I'm hovering around the 300-500k range, buying a random frog mount or something when I get a surplus. Gold's still no problem, but I'll likely never get anywhere near goldcap this expac unless they drastically increase the amount of gold you can generate, and I think they're moving away from that design.
I find myself spending a lot of money on mounts and heirloom gear, I try to only spend big amounts on things that are a 1 time hit and done. I've never even bet on unclaimed containers because from what I've seen they're not worth it. I've only ever bought 1 wow token and it was to buy the repair/mog yak because I considered it worth some real cash.
I just wanna make enough gold to buy one wow token every month is there anything anyone can suggest ? Because i really dont have much time and i just want an easy way to make enogh gold to buy a token thats all thanks.
I tend to spend my gold on pets and mounts generally, with the occasional WoW Token thrown in. With the prices that the BMAH boxes get to, it seems like a waste when it seems you're throwing away your money 9 times out of 10.
I am always hesitant about dipping into new markets, I just feel like there is always other people who are working much harder than I am going to and it will ultimately end in "ruin". I am going to set a goal for myself to try something new, set aside a certain amount that I would feel comfortable losing and see what I am able to turn that into. I really want the auctioneer mount and this will be the only way to get it.
Back in MoP i biught the "Plagued proto drake" from the bmhI used all my gold back then! Amazing 160.000Gold ;D
I spend the gold I make in Wow on paying for my sub monthly, I am pretty stoked I can do that because I only started to play since mid legion. The most expensive thing I ever purchased was a few mounts, pets and the pack from the cash shop during the after Xmas sales. I convertedmy Wow gold to buy tokens and bought quite a lot. The most expensive thing I have purchased from the AH was a sky golem or sandstone drake, during legion.
Honestly, I only grind and use my gold to buy the token, as it's the only way I can play the game. At the moment, it's pretty hard for me to get even that amount and seeing how this guy has 12M pretty much blows my mind. Although I cannot say I have need of anything else besides the token, it would be nice to have more gold and afford some cool things once in a while, mostly mounts as I personally am a mount collector.
the most expensive thing I bought is wow tokens. mostly I spend my gold on wow tokens. I have bought some crafting items, pets, and mounts
The best goblin rule is "Thou shalt set REALISTIC goals" and it's the one I live by. Set a goal for let's say, 10k gold per day, then see how is it going and increase the amount if needed. Also "Thou shalt not sit idle" is a second rule to live by. There is always some gold world quest waiting to be done, some herbs ready to be picked etc (:What personally kept my gold in my pocket is farming consumables for raiding/m+ 1-2h/day or before the raid. I sell the herbs I don't need (or don't need huge amount of) and keep the ones I need for pots/flasks.So whatever I need I will farm out rather than spending gold for it (since I'm on a tiny realm and everything is overpriced)
I typically spend way too much of my gold collecting battle pets. I am chasing the collection. I have just over 950 unique battle pets and growing every day!The most I think I have spent at any one time on an item was 156,000 gold... but I really needed that Spineclaw Crab!
I like to spend my gold on various things but mostly i pay my gametime with it so i could play. Also i managed to get my longboy recently for which i saved up gold for some time now since i didnt want to spend the gold i already had :D
Thou shalt not sit idle. This is the most important rule ! Like, time is money =D
