They should give the alliance a 30% buff to all their stuff so they stop complaining... they've proven to do it before...
Gift of the Naaru can be casted on others which increases its value, but yeah, a 100% heal over 4s is still pretty OP for a racial even if it gets broken by damage. I'd say bring it down to 15% over 4s for 60% heal or make it unusable while in combat.
So, you are fighting a Zandari troll rogue, they are almost dead, blind you, then they heal to full, they are almost dead again 90 seconds later, stun you, they heal to full. This could cycle forever, but that is not OP. Ok
Has nobody yet noticed this is based off of Zul'jin's ability from Heroes of the Storm? Because they're Not doing a good job of translating it to WoW, in Heroes its not as broken, but in WoW?
My only problem with this is that Blizz has basically decided that all raid bosses now do steady ticking raidwide damage, because it's too hard to balance them otherwise. Basically negates any use this might have outside of an instant jump to full health after a rez.
So lets get this straight. Draenei have a racial that restores 20% max HP over 5 seconds with a 3min CD, and they want to add a 100% HP restore over 4 seconds with a 1.5min CD.Even if its broken by damage, there are tons of damage blocking abilities out there that can allow them to full heal (Paladin bubble, Hunter turtle, etc.) And even if they make it that it can only be used outside of combat it can still be heavily abused by rogues with vanish. But at the same time if they just nerf the ability, wont it just become a copy of the Draenei racial? They should just scrap the whole idea tbh. In fact, they should scrap all combat racials as all they do is increase faction & race imbalance.
This. I almost think the Dark iron, void elf and lightforged racials were slightly stronger then the horde side allied races in purpose, since horde racials were better then alliance before that.But the Zandalari ones mean legit EVERY top pvper and PVER will be zandalari troll.
You can't actually think this racial was balanced? Pretty much would force anyone who wants to be competitive in PVE or PVP to switch to horde side and go Zandalari
Can people stop comparing this to Gift of the Naaru? That is a OFF GCD, INSTANT CAST, HoT on ANYONE.Anyone in their right mind would see that a ON GCD, 4 SECOND CHANNEL that is INTERRUPTED BY DAMAGE would have to be way more powerful than the by all accounts free healing GotN provides.
Guys, the patch is coming out in several months, stop whining about the healing %, it's going to get nerfed. And while doing the Brawler's Guild on both a Paladin and Hunter on the PTR as Zandalari, I can confirm that it's not usable during any shields.
I say make it passive. If you can "USE" it to heal x% every 1.5 min just treat it like the old troll blood potion and just make them gain hp every sec/10 sec/15 sec whatever works.
This is a false equivalence... While I agree the last round of Alliance allied races got a bit better racials, Zandalari regeneration is near game breaking... PVE, PVP even with the interrupt this racial is so beyond anything in the game. Racial abilities will never be able to achieve complete parity, its part objective and part flavor. But comparing ease of travel around the world or a fractional damage increase compared to a 100% heal every 1.5 minutes is silly.

You're only forgetting the fact that Gift of the Naaru can be cast on others, while Regeneratin' is a self-only heal.
I guess based on the "Gift of the naaru" Draenei Racial, which is "20% max health over 4 sec, 3min cd", the zandalari one was supposed to be "2.5% over 4 sec, 1m30 cd".That's 10% max HP every 1m30 for Zandalari, versus 20% max HP every 3 min for Draenei. Balanced.
