So much for people last month saying "don't worry guys, it works with BfA skill levels." Would have been nice if Blizzard mentioned this with the patch rather than have it be mentioned in an out of the way help article. Blizzard has, to put it nicely, crappy communication. My brother went to the DMF earlier and said it was dead. Literally no one there but him. With the profession quests now worthless to most players, I can understand why. Aside from the xp/rep buff, the DMF isn't worth the time to travel to. And even the buff might not be worth it for many players. Blizzard killed something many players looked forward to on the first full week of the month and did so without explanation or even a warning. But hey, what's new?
Those poor Giostraio Ferito! Who is going to bandage them now?
So without the ability to up your skill over 300. Having all the toys, mounts and most rep. Not much left to go to the Darkmoon faire for or do we have to wait 2 More years for BOA changes at the DF?
Darkmoon Faire is worthless now that it doesn't give skillups for professions above Classic. Other than the 16 slot bag for lower level characters.
to the guy said it doesnt work unless your maxed from other xpacks.this is not true i am max on my alt in alchemy and enchanting from all xpacks up to bfa and i did not get 5 point in either when i did the darkmoon quest. so doesnt matter if your maxed in legion and below or not you dont get any points for bfa atm .i hope this is a bug.also for the ones saying it only works for classic your full of beans also because i have used darkmoon every xpack to level my profs including legion and wod and they are not classic
that picture is soooo darn awesome. thanks for sharing the link *hugs you*
well... ignoring the skill issue, there are still all those toys/pets/mounts/achievements that people can get. and since quite a few of them are NOT BoP, they can be put in the AH for a few coins.and while not as profitable as running a dungeon/raid/world quest (and assuming it hasn't been "fixed"), you can buy a DMF bag for 1 prize ticket and then immediately vendor it for 2.5 gold. rinse, repeat, profit.oh, and lets not forget all the various transmog items available at the vendors.is Darkmoon Faire worth going to every month?if you're max level, probably not.is it worth going to when you're bored or while leveling a new alt?yes. yes it is. at least once or twice.could Activision-Blizzard have done a better job of updating the event?i don't know. but i'm pretty sure they could have spent a few more man-hours on it. or at the very least, spent a few more minutes adding the change info to patch notes, game update forums, official facebook/twitter pages, etc.
I'm ....miffed by the DMF change because the +5 was always a SLOOOOW but steady safety mechanism whenever Blizzard screwed up, or when leveling certain range was just too bloody time-consuming or expensive. Now that mechanism is gone. Well, they could either give NPCs a dialogue, asking to which profession range to apply the bonus (this could let them exclude current content), or make it simple - and apply to whichever range is the highest learned by a character (but that would by default apply to also current content). Ah well.
If you're wondering the carosel and top hat buffs don't stack. Using the top hat while having the carosel buff will just overwrite it.
hello, where can i get the picture of the thumbnail?' the Dark iron dwarf vs the orc. looks amazing
Where is the thumbnail pic from?
