I'm using TSM4. It's more simple than TSM3, but still needs to be set up. Also I dont find option, which show all expensive items at all my chars in 1 window
im farming right now for my garrision AH :D love the fact that you dont need the ashran stuff anymore
Respond to something, for the contest? Easy, as there's so much to this week's post."Importing and Exporting TradeSkillMaster settings"IMPORTING! Major bonus there, as I had quite a few things to import. A very thorough going over, of TSM4. I think it's something to be slowly digested, over the weekend. As with a buffet, you CAN eat too much too soon!;)
I've recently gotten into TSM 4 and so far I'm loving it. My favorite new feature has to be the task list when crafting large groups of items. It makes everything so much simpler and reduces the need for me to remember and/or write down my shopping list. I'm excited to get more into the addon and see all the wonderful things it can do.
I've always been pushed away from using TSM since it wasn't noob-friendly. But now I'm excited to try it again and let's see if I manage to get myself into the goldmaking!
I will have to try this idea in BFA. I used normal paper and math, this may organize things better. Thanks for the info, looking forward to crafting bags and other cool items!
i might actually try out trade master soon. but it still is so intimidating for its size.
I have my own spreadsheet for keeping track of all of my alts activities. I'll definitely check out the Lazy Goldmaker's one. My easiest/laziest way of making gold was setting up all 12 characters with suitable followers then running missions on my phone at work and overnight. Small initial time investment, easy profit.
I've heard about TSM before but I have never used it before. This looks totally insane.I can't imagine how much work and time went into that addon...Might actually give it a try in bfa, even though I do not really care much about gold.
Recent Game ChangesWhat a blessing that they removed the requirement for the universal language module. I was contemplating on getting a couple of my alts their garrison auction house but the part was... expensive. It sure does suck for those that were trying to capitalize on the part thinking a high profit was secured. I also find it funny that they again changed the cloak enchants from Warlords of Draenor.. I guess they really were just that good..TSM 4I've been using tradeskillmaster for quite some time now. The previous iteration of the addon was perfect however, tsm4 is going above and beyond. I'm digging the new UI as well as the plethora of new features. Looks like my auctioning and shopping is more streamlined as well as having that task list! That is quite possibly the best addition ever! It immediately stood out to me out of everything else as I was scrolling down the list.Lazy Goldmaker's SpreadsheetNothing to say other than absolute perfection. Keep up the fantastic work!
Congrats on the release to the team of TSM4. I've had access to the beta a long while, tried it out months ago but it still needed a lot of work. It's nice to see how far it has come. I'm well impressed with how much faster many things like looting the mailbox work, and also how much more intuitive everything is. Still not an easy addon to learn but it should lower the curve for those truely interested in making gold.
Thanks about the TSM info, will start using it now :)
I spent a good 300K on that universal module 2 ago... I suppose that's fine though.
I fell in love with TSM 4 I always wanted these features.Developer made a great job. Also I deleted so many addons and my clients runs so much smoother now I am very very very happy with new version and I'm more hyped for tsm4 than bfa.Sad but true.
That's great news for me, never collected enough parts for the Universal Language Module and have loads of the other parts stashed for when I was going to get round to doing more pvp to get the last parts, prices were way to high to make it worth buying. Now I should be able to complete the quest on a number of alts, some that I still leave in my Garrison.
I'm liking the new TSM 4, a few things I'm iffy on but its nice to see things like tsm destroy work again
I'm happy that you no longer need the Universal Language Module as I've finally got my auction house in my Garrison!
I definitely want to partake more in gold making at the start of BfA. TSM4 is downloaded (not set up yet though) and I have weeks of holiday around launch. After working hard in RL with uni, freelancing alongside a narcissistic prick and moving along my own business I feel like I have earned that free time very much. And will spend it in Azeroth. :-)I have snatched a few cheap modules for the AH bot on the AH recently (not THAT many, mind you) and will sell them when more people have gotten wind of the language module being gone and prices will increase. Profits have to be worth my playing time. Same in RL when selling something on eBay and such. Before I sell something for almost nothing as compared to not selling it at all, I'd rather not sell it at all. I despise haggling and people who do so even more. We have a beautiful word in German, which does not exist in English: verscherbeln. Meaning: selling cheap (too cheap), throwing it off the shelves. And like another poster commented already: great writeup this week!
The hotfix for the Universal Language Module caught me off guard, but I still managed to sell the one I had stashed for BFA for about 20k more than I'd paid for it, so in the end it was still a profit. One of the few times I was ahead of the curve market wise, narrowly avoided the price crash.
