Echoing many of the comments here,I also found TSM3 not user-friendly and overwhelming. I'm excited to try TSM4 with their design approach of accessibility. Also, I'm pleased they have consolidated all the modules into one addon and brought popular features like sniper to the forefront.
Good to know TSM4 is out. Probably didn't use the last version to it's fullest extent, but anything that makes managing "stuff" easier is a good thing.
I was using spreadsheets when i tried to get into the battle pet market. It was priceless helper to keep track of the prices on each realm. Later there started to get websites that did the same, so i slowly switched to them instead. Finally TSM4 Release :D You have done a awesome job. Sure there are som areas of improvement, but who think everything is perfect when release.
I always used the lazy goldmaker's legion spreadsheets but I never made any of my own. I've been loving the new TSM4 so far, a few bugs but thats to be expected with a fresh release. The devs have been resolving people's problems and concerns pretty quickly
I am still using TSM3 since I need some time to convince me that it will be more simple to use. Thanks to you, it seems to me that I will soon install fourth :)
I did invest in Auction House parts - it is working well so far - most people sell the module components seperately for vastly less than the modules, so am making nice gold flipping those! Looking forward to using the Lazy Goldmaker sheets in BFA!
1 - Only on my bank char and yes always2 - I have dll tsm4 on beta, task list is the best. Alot groups and operations more the i need.3 - not spreadsheets im to lazi. Flip itens easiest and the laziest.
As a beta tester myself TSM 4 is awesome, i wish that Gumdrops would post something showing his groups/operations using the new conditionals.
Never used TSM before because it was a little overhelming to me, but looking forward to TSM4.
Downloaded TSM4 as soon as it was released, new user here and I haven't still understood many functions. I use it mainly for seeing instant value of pieces I drop in old raids, I'm struggling to adapt to the new UI, I will re-check some guides later.
I love TSM and now TSM 4 I think is totally awesome. I cannot believe all the work you put into it, great job guys you're the best I know I'll be a billionaire many times over thank you again you guys rock!
Haven't had much of a chance to use TSM4 yet, but looking forward to it. Sounds like a lot of really useful features and a heck of an effort to update. Been using TSM3 for a few months and found it really helpful. Having a bit of a learning curve issue on the switch, but hoping the videos linked will help with that. Thank you.
What a week! Configuring TSM4 has taken up almost all of my gaming time! While it looks like some bugs exist (open all mail won't continue past inbox refill, crafting-oriented shopping only searches the item in question, etc.) overall I love the improvements. I can scan and post auctions faster than before, the sleek design looks great, and the transition with my previous groups and prices went perfectly; thanks for all the hard work guys, and for the great article, Gumdrops!
I did invest in some of the parts that wouldn't drop for me on my main, in WoD, but I never actually ended up using it really, as I changed factions in Legion.I still have some duplicates of the garrison auction house parts that I'm selling on AH. As for the old-school materials, if you mean prior to current expansion content materials, then yes, I do have a character per faction that I send all the old materials to that I get from leveling alts (still have some alts to level, especially some allied races!). Haven't got round to selling them yet though.
Has anyone figured out yet what gold is good for? Say you have been playing this game for 14 years and have accumulated 7-8million GP without trying. You generally don't need to buy anything because between your 20-30 different alts, you can make anything on a variety of servers for both factions. Having bought a number of rare mounts over the years, what is the point? You don't buy anything so the gold just gradually piles up over time.I sincerely welcome any thoughts.
i never realy made a sheet myself. i did alter lazygolmakers vial of the sands sheet so that i would get the price data from his legion work sheet instead of having to fill it in manual.im happy with the task list in tsm will help me and my forgetting cds aswell.my laziest way of goldmaking. hyjacking accounts of friends that stopped playing wow ages ago stealing all there gold, items and pets and sell them
After being in the beta I definitely love how the mailbox seems to be a bit faster in TSM4 compared to TSM3.
I've recently returned to Wow after being away for several years. I've always had an interest in making gold in wow and always heard TSM was the best bet, decided to begin to learn with my return (so much i need to learn anyway). I've download the addon and desktop application and have it running constantly. I really like the option of not having to login to the game to continue to get pricing information for my realm. (Can update even while I'm at work)I'm still in the beginning phases of learning TSM so i have some work to do with groups. This great spreadsheet provided by Lazy will help greatly, i can't imagine how much time had to go into preapring such a document.I look forward to learning and making gold with the help of TSM & Lazy GoldMarker.Thank you to the TSM team, Lazy Goldmaker and their associates :D
