I want more red on the Horde cloak!
"Now in Battle for Azeroth we're getting a higher-resolution version of this sword"\r\rBecause why should we update the Vanilla-old weapon when we can act like it is new content, like we do with mounts.
Can you still get the old sword? If not I'll be happy to farm for the new one.
i honestly prefer hte OG Teebu sword. You can see throguht it, unlike the remake. But hey, it can give an alternative to some people, if they get lucky in B4A
Now if we could get one in blue as well...
I would not mind having the alliance cape and tabard on the upcoming alliance armor. My alliance alts would look good in them.
Now if we could get one in blue as well...\r\rthere is a blue version of it both as a 1 handed and 2 handed sword.
"Now in Battle for Azeroth we're getting a higher-resolution version of this sword"\r\rBecause why should we update the Vanilla-old weapon when we can act like it is new content, like we do with mounts.\r\rBecause people like the old weapons look and want to keep it or earn it in the future. Literally every time Blizzard has replaced a model or visual effect with an updated new one, large groups of players ask to be able to have the old version back.

In other news, Xorothian Cultists are channeling again. Go check yourselves, pre-patch comes July 11 or 12 at the most.
Hope they update a blue light saber model

Oh my god, this sword. \rIt's so iconic. The Dwarf in the vanilla box art had it!

Literally every time Blizzard has replaced a model or visual effect with an updated new one, large groups of players ask to be able to have the old version back.\r\rI think adding a new version appeases both crowds, like you said, preventing any disputes over new vs. old model preference. As for the people complaining about old content being, "rehashed" what's the point in complaining? I find it difficult to think of reasons why this would be a problem.
I lucked out during an old Molten Core Eye run years back and Teebu's dropped. I damn near pissed myself and no one else with me knew why. I still have my old Argent Avenger, too, from the original Argent quests before they scrubbed them. Yes, I know it's the same model as the Spellfire Longsword, but Argent Avenger just sounds way cooler.
Now if we could get one in blue as well...\r\rthere is a blue version of it both as a 1 handed and 2 handed sword.\r\rI was talking about a high quality one and not the low quality ones we already have. It would look very bad with both low and high being together.
Elegant Legwraps of D'nusa might be a reference to Steve Danuser (Senior Narrative Designer) - he was on the storytelling panel with Christie Golden\/Terran Gregory at E3 recently.
Can we lose the browns on the Horde appearances? Stick with Red and Black. It's at least aesthetically pleasing and matches most things.
