Can't wait until they show the Feral ones- oh wait.
I kinda wish they just gave us a new row of Talents based around three effects from our artifacts we could pick between, rather than inconsistently picking and choosing. Like, the artifact ability, and then two decent modifiers to other abilities.\r\rIt kinda felt like the perfect time for a new talent row - we've spent so long with these weapons that even losing their power we are still able to use some of their power, as if our characters have progressed from it.
I wish they would stop recycling old talents and actually come up with new ones. This game is supposed to evolve and develop our characters.
this isn't a recycle, they are making Sindragosa (a current trait) into a talent so its still usable. That is not recycling but keeping something iconic

I would have loved that... shame it's not gonna happen.
I wish they would stop recycling old talents and actually come up with new ones. This game is supposed to evolve and develop our characters.\r\rgotta say, if players really liked an old talent (and lets be honest even as non-dk-player syndragosa was one of the coolest skills in the game) and\/or it was just pretty healthy for the class I see no harm in keeping that one around.\r\rI It kinda felt like the perfect time for a new talent row - we've spent so long with these weapons that even losing their power we are still able to use some of their power, as if our characters have progressed from it.\r\rthat is an acceptable reason - for some passive traits as talents. However the most traits with a lot of impact on your gameplay (which is kind of what talents should be) were the gold-traits, which were rather connected to the weapon itself, not thew user...\rOtherwise, the idea is really nice.
A new Talent Row at Level 120, as well as re-aquiring the Artifiact Active at say 115 would've been nice. With the 120-row modifying in various ways, the 115 ability.\r\rPast level 80, there are no new Abilities (outside of Talents, which end at 100).
I'm NOT prepared to lose all my weapon traits and feel weak again :(

Rather than a 120 talent row they opted to prune a lot of dead talents.

They could even add new talent row\/s just from all of these sources.
cool. so i still have a chance to equipt ashbringer. :)
YES! we frost dks can still call in an air strike!

YES! we frost dks can still call in an air strike!Part of the reason I went for that one first, heh heh. Can't wait until they show the Feral ones- oh wait.same with warlocks :|not a single effect\/trait was kept :\/WHAT? Not even the portals from the scepter? A POX ON YOUR HOUSE, BLIZZARD!
I totaly feel ya..
Can't wait until they show the Feral ones- oh wait.\r\rFeral\r\r The main artifact ability Ashamane's Frenzy was changed and now is the talent Feral Frenzy.\r The Wildshaper's Clutch effect is likely inspired the new azerite traits Blood Mist and Gushing Lacerations.\r\r?
Adding on to the discussion of what they could've done with the talents: Something that I would've found interesting and oddly refreshing after so long without it is the old talent trees where you didn't choose a spec and could pick and choose talents. They could've included the talents we have now, new ones, whatever they decided on but also incorporate some of the artifact traits that we will lose. It would've allowed us to pick and choose from the artifacts of the different specs and, personally, I feel it would've offered a much more involved selection. Right now, the talents trees are strictly cookie cutter. Allowing us to pick from different specs again would freshen it up and allow us to try out many different styles of gameplay and see which works best and which we like the best.

Sure some Legendary abilities have been rolled into upcoming things. But we Ferals have bigger issues at hand. Tiger's Fury on the GCD as well as Wild Charge. Looking at our friendly Rogues their abilities are off the GCD. So yea we 100% are a worse Rogue if these changes go live. \r\rTDRL: Ok 100% is an absolute and those aren't real but we are going to be a worse version of a class that similar to Feral. Still hoping for Tiger's Fury off the GCD and Wild Charge.

They already made the base three gold traits so they essentially already developed them. Any tied to the Artifacts they could make the text a bit more generic but keep the same effect, like they just did with the Frost DK's artifact ability as a talent.\r\rIt's too late for them to do it unfortunately, but if they did decide to do it they've already done a huge majority of the work.
I am so glad I misunderstod the title of this post.\r\rThought they were bringing the legendaries into BfA as well. Only legy items I wanna see in the game again better be behind a questchain.
