The real question here is... will our artifact appearances be shared account wide? I really don't want to do the challenge appearances with all my druids...
So let's say that currently, I have 418k honor shared with all my characters (Prestige 1 being worth about 22k, and Prestige 2 and above being worth 44k, from what I've read), where would I land in this new system? If I get it right, with the current system, if I add-up all that honor, I should be Prestige 10. Will it be converted into something like Honor Level 35 or will it become Honor Level 10?
They will be, Blizzard said so months ago so we're all good :)

Have they still not given out any info about balance of power questline? Done it twice and im already tired of doing it. Would like it to be account wide.
The key question is - if I'm trying to unlock my honor tints should I rush to farm honor now, because the tints are easier to obtain (i.e. cost less) under the Legion honor system, or does it make no difference?\r\rPut another way, does for example Prestige 7 automatically convert to Honor Level 30 when the change happens? If Prestige 7 converts to a lower value, say Honor Level 20, then assuming Prestige 7 is reasonably within your reach it is absolutely worth pushing to the next tint level before the change happens.
Basically same question as Moon87.
If you have multiple characters then i would suggest atleast doing the 500Honor World quest everyday on every character you can, you can do it twice a day which means you earn a bunch of honor per day and it'll pay off big time when they merge all of our honor. \rI'm currently doing this on 8 of my characters and sometimes i do most of the 300 honor WQ's too which adds up even more honor to the pile. If you start now then you'll be at a pretty decent honor level in BFA.\r\rNote: I'm doing the honor WQ's instead of BG's because it's far more efficient. A BG win may give you 450-600honor ish but that takes far longer than a 3 minute WQ that gives you 500 honor on a gold plate.
They do not cost less. They cost the exact samr amount of honor but theyve removed the prestige systm.

My guess is Prestige 7 equals Honon lvl 30, so when BfA comes you don't lose the tint you unlocked.EDIT: But considering they will be merging account-wide honor levels, it does make sense to farm as much as possible with several toons now since there don't seem to be PvP WQs (as of yet) in BfA.

Anyone who earned a reward in Legion will keep it in Battle For Azeroth, even if they don\u2019t meet the new requirements. If you're counting on the BfA honor merged account-wide to unlock some rewards, you might have to take into consideration that said merge might not get you that much closer to your goal.
Solid new info. But, how much honor is required for each honor level? And, does it begin to curve up at certain points? In short: how much total honor is required to achieve all four tints?
If you're counting on the BfA honor merged account-wide to unlock some rewards, you might have to take into consideration that said merge might not get you that much closer to your goal.Yes this is exactly my point - let's say I'm Prestige 5 now on one character and Prestige 2 on another character, and that my key goal is unlocking Tint 2 on my main only. Rather than doing nothing and assuming that the conversion will unlock Tint 2, it might be better to grind Prestige 7 now and guarantee unlocking Tint 2 on one character (because as you say, "Anyone who earned a reward in Legion will keep it in Battle For Azeroth, even if they don\u2019t meet the new requirements"). You may discover with the conversion that you are actually further away from unlocking Tint 2 in BFA than you are now. However what I hope is that we'll be able to find out the exact conversion amounts in advance and make an informed choice whether to grind or not, rather than leaving it to chance.
Main question is - if I have 25+ (max'ed) lvl prestige already, all mounts and title Tactician will I have 300 lvl in new system? Or I'll need to grind it 1 more time?

Would like it to be account wide.\r\rThis has also been answered countless times, seriously are people so lazy they can't take 8 seconds to search it? YES, the only appearance not available after Legion will be the mage tower BASE appearance, you will be able to unlock the other 3 tints from the challenge row after Legion.\r\rMy problem is they are spec locked. So my Vengeance DH can't use the Havoc appearance, which in my opinion is total garbage and I hope they change that, its really discouraging me from worrying about the mage tower at all.\r\rAlso, I think certain ones should have no class restrictions, a shield is a shield for instance, and it could make sense for a DK to use only the corrupted Ashbringer appearance.

It's still totally irrelevant to this news article though.
So far, ONLY the requirements for the PvP tints have been changed to account-wide progress (plus, the one tint that requires Archaeology was already account-wide). The appearances are also transmoggable between characters of the same class\/spec, so repeating the questline is not required for alts of the same class. \r\rBut questing requirements to unlock additional appearances\/tints, while still available, have not been changed to account-wide completion, so each class where you want to use the Balance of Power weapon model or related tints still has to do the full questline. Same for retrieving Light's Heart, defeating 8 of the Broken Isles world bosses, completing a Mythic +15 Keystone within the timer (which has been announced as obtainable in BfA), defeating Heroic Kil'jaeden, et al.

What he was asking was if the balance of power achievement would be account wide.It has been confirmed that no, you will still have to do it on each class.Regarding the new honor system, I'd love for Blizzard to give us the numbers regarding the new ranks. We have the ones of Legion, so having the ones from BFA would make us able to calculate if we still need to grind or not anymore...But questing requirements to unlock additional appearances\/tints, while still available, have not been changed to account-wide completion, so each class where you want to use the Balance of Power weapon model or related tints still has to do the full questline. I highly doubt this is true. We have no way of knowing that with the Beta (considering we can't copy our characters (yet?) ). And I doubt Blizzard would tell us "Oh you know those 30 dungeons, 1000 players kills and 200 wq you farmed? Well good luck doing it on every other alt you create from here on out !"
