The cinematic dept. has been brilliant. Looking forward to what happens next with Vol'jin.
It's a little bit interesting ( I guess) that they didn't talk about the Nighthold cinematic. Maybe next year.
Entering the tomb of Sargeras and be face to face with kil'jaeden again will be the pinnacle 7.2 patch =D
Diablo dev really should watch and learn something from WoW team.
The horde video is awesome.
im in aswell :D
The further we get into the expansions each time, legion cinematics have tugged at my heart strings, Varians death, Yseras death, Varian noble death, he gave his life so the entire alliance didn't have to that day. Ysera, death that could've been avoided had malfurion not went so blindly after Xavius and the legion as a whole. I miss both characters, hell even Tirions death hit hard cause i came to like and respect him as a paladin, it was nice to get ashbringer and wield it but at the cost of a great paladin and character of lore. I'm excited to see the cinematics going forward in the next expansion and further out.
Greymane is definitely the bad guy in this feud. No one will ever say Sylvanas is innocent, but here in the story culminating in this cinematic she's just trying to secure her people's survival and Greymane is just being a spiteful jerk. I mean yes, she killed his kid, but the whole invasion thing wasn't even her idea. She was forced into it by Garrosh. And it's not like the Gilneans were innocent in the first place. When they're northern neighbors in Lordaeron needed help the most, where were the Gilneans? Ignoring them, safely tucked behind their wall that Greyman himself put up to keep out outsiders. How many Lordaeronians (Lordaeranians?) died at the base of the Greymane wall, crushed beneath a tide of advancing Scourge, desperately hoping to find shelter to the south?Umm... sorry, I'm rambling. I guess what I mean to say is that Sylvanas/Greymane cinematic is boss.
these cinematic are great hope we get more
How can we be happy to see a new garrosh as a warchief? Because up to now sylvanas was just like that.
Gonna be interesting to see where the lore around Sylvanas is going from here....
Blizzard were always making awesome cinematics. Looking forward to see more in Legion.
As I said in the previous post I studied animation and what goes on behind the scenes is truly remarkable - very well down blizzard. Hopefully one day an animated series will come out haha. We all know the undead are the true kings! Can't wait to see what's in store for 7.2 cinematic wise.
I know it requires a lot of work but i love when quest has cinematic or animation like harbingers. Although I didn't want to kill Ysera in a quest i guess like everyone else :P the cinematic is great on that quest.
Blizzard's cinematics are one of my favorite things about the company, and while the in-game ones like the ones in Legion may not be on par with the openings of the expansions in terms of quality, it makes me glad that there's a lot more of them appearing throughout the story, and they've only gotten better over time.
Blizz used to rock with their ingame videos. They're a bit behind now comparing to the rest of the developers. Still quite strong.
Everytime I see the Val'sharah cinematics my heart just seizes, everything about that zone was great and the conclusion just killed me.
I was here... Again... No pain, no gain...
Thank you so much for posting these here together! So much rich lore happened and grew with the drop of this patch and the videos you guys make to show that always impress!
the ysera cinematic still gives me shivers.amazing
