There are films with worse critic and better fan ratings, and vica versa. The only important thing is did you enjoy the film? :)
I love the look of the items! There's always the 'only if we could get...', but appreciative of what 'free' items we were given. Seems only on Ally side those that can wield a shield and 1 handed sword get items, and similar situation on Horde side to their limitations. Too bad you can't mail to other side and get the transmog look. I would have loved to have gotten the staff transmog for my Ally warlock, that would have been awesome!Anyway, thanks!
With the new weapons can Wowhead please do some good Transmorg sets that go with these weapons?
The staff is absolutely perfect for my Orc Warlock. Suffice to say I'm a happy green fel flame firing orc :D
Hmm, well done again, Blizzard, not giving the staff to the aliance as well. :-(The shield is purely alliance, okay -> will only occupie bag-space untill 7.0 for me as I have no use for it at all.
I'm pretty sure its based on weapons the characters in the movie use so the faction restriction makes sense. Its free and meant to be a tie in and a bit of fun, are people really complaining about free, fun items? My Shaman can use the shield but my Priest, Monk and Druid (unless bear- and it doesn't show then) cannot, still I'm happy for it, need to level my pally now lol. However there is a good chance that these transmogs will be widely used for a while and you might not want to use them anyway.
My heart felt real heavy while reading the interview with Duncan Jones, the director of Warcraft. I had no idea that his father was David Bowie and that his wife had breast cancer. My heart goes out the Bowie/Jones Family. Much love to them <3
Personally i think the Horde items look like &*!@ compared to the Alliance one :(
The sword and shield would look perfect on my warrior and pally and the staff on my warlock ... except that my warrior and pally are Horde and my warlock Alliance. But at least I can rock out the staff on certain characters and the axe looks awesome on my rogue. I wish these items were not bound by faction.
The movie is awesome, don't take those early critic reviews too seriously. There's a little mess due to creators' attempt to fit in too many events and facts. And there's some "retcon". But overall it's a great fantasy movie with spectacular visuals, solid story and strong acting.I think some critics might dislike the slightly cartoonish style — but we all love that style since WarCraft: Orcs&Humans. One review stated that orcs are poorly designed — but that's THE orcs we all know and love too. Someone tries to compare it to LotR but the movies have completely different pace — hasteless and consequtive in LotR but slightly hopping and fast in Warcraft.I'm looking forward to my non-warcraft-fan-friends' reviews but I'm sure every fan just must watch it =)
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember Khadgar actively training to become the next guardian... that doesn't even make sense considering the lifespan of guardians and Medivh's age in the film, Khadgar would be long dead by the time Medivh would need to pass on his powers...
Wonderful gift from Blizzard! I fell in love with a shield and sword! ^_^
