Why the **CK are we ELECTROCUTING our own pets? This is a terrible idea for a spec that is, fantasy-wise, supposed to be at one with our beast companions... and can we please get a better model than the crappy worg model (Draenor wolf or similar to the fenris model please or let us choose from our own pet models?)? Still doesn't make sense of Survival being a melee class dropping traps right on top of themselves and their pet and BM using a gun and torturing our own pets to do more damage... Really blizzard, switch the spec weapons and make BM the melee spec, right there in an enemy's face with your spear and two pets! Survival dropping traps, using grenades, and having a Lightning cannon!
Why are they showing Hati off as a new model? it's a reskin...
Yes finally a bow!
It's funny Blizzard made Hati a female while in the stories, the two wolf brothers are sires, or males. No worries.
Nothing new except the rifles. It’s a pity... =(
Well i wanted an artifact pet, But hati is too damn ugly! Get us a cat, a hydra anything but not that #$%^ty worg please
-----Hati: Summoned Beast Mastery Artifact Wolf-----Skoll? Is that you? What have they done to you buddy?
I really hope Blizzard changes the Hati model to be a little more unique. I get that Hati is supposed to be Skoll's counterpart (Norse Mythology and all that), but that doesn't mean that they have to look so identical.
All those guns are just reskins of existing items. And horrible guns to begin with. They dont even look like guns, not impressed with the effort considering these are meant to last you an entire expansion...more like fishing poles.
Hati's reskin model is horrid, to be frank... Perhaps this will change? It is alpha.
I have to say, my favorite spec seems to be getting shat on from a great height. So, let me get this right. Blizz is forcing a gun quest on us for starters, which pisses off a LOT of hunters who detest the guns in the game. Kill shot is gone. The animation of Stampede is ridiculous- it's almost exactly like the pet battle stampede animation. I like pet battling, don't get me wrong. But for as an ability of BM? It's an insult. I *love* the idea of a weapon infused with the power of storms. I *love* the BM artifact quest. But dear sweet jesus, they'd better give us a wolf that's got a new look. That horrid Wrath worg is just poor taste. I see BM and Demonology in similar veins, for obvious reasons, but it *feels* like they have someone working on BM that doesn't have much love for it or who knows much about the people who love it. Demo has a ton of stuff going on -almost too much, looking at the rotation. And the abilities are not only meaningful to the spec, they make sense. But in contrast, BM is literally bouncing between kill Command and waiting for dire beast to proc while you stand there and wonder which random beast is going to pop out next. And no, simply making them the beasts from our stable doesn't address the issue. And because they've invented an idiotic focus return that's out of the BM's hands, you have to spam Cobra Shots constantly. Don't think so? What do you think's going to happen to our focus on bosses or enemies the dire beasts can't hit- and there WILL be plenty. This isn't shaping up well. Some things are *good*. Adding in the possibility of Chimera shot was a smart move. But still. The issues here FAR outweigh the positive for me.I very much think they should take a page out of what they're doing for Survival hunters here, and actually give us abilities that we can do WITH our pets, or at least command them to do other than Kill Command. Thanks for all the great articles so far though regardless, Wowhead. Very nice to see so much. :)
poor skoll ;(.... He is just about to lose his rareness. He'll still be my fav
If you remember, he lost his rareness in MoP with the wolves that look exactly like Hati in the Vale of Eternal Blossoms. There's packs of them roaming around.
Is the falcosaurus an homage to Robert Bakker? He theorizes that dinosaurs evolved into birds.
It's about time that someone at Blizzard realized that all the latest research is showing that not only are theropod dinosaurs related to birds (the closest living relative of T. rex is the chicken!) but also that they were feathered.
