This WAS my favorite expansion... until the whole thing felt rushed and suddenly Grommash is a good guy and Archimonde becomes the end boss waaaay too soon. What the hell? I feel cheated here...
they get lazier and greeder everyday.expansion prices they raise and raise.and trheir work goes less and less .game is arent only raid.2 patch wtf we even bored super over year soo at panda and now wana stick us 1.5 year same crappy raid on as new content.guess they trying ride of wow.this way they can down at q3 like 3-4m sub
Talking about quality and then calling 6.1 a big patch. Somehow I don't think the devs play their own game.
Do you ever read something and can just "feel" the rumbling of anger coming to the internet? this is gonna be bad I feel like they should have announced this with news of the next xpac not by itself
Well I just heard a lot of people hanging up their subscriptions.
This expansion is 4 months shy of being out a full year, and already we're seeing the last raid content. Yikes.Assuming the next expansion comes out in the usual window of october/november.....just yikes. Of course they could be further along and maybe it comes out a lot sooner...but come on....this is blizzard we're talking about. It sounds like, after reading this, they're not planning on releasing the new expansion any earlier than usual with their whole "we'll release it when it's ready" schtick. Which is fine. But they have the same excuse year after year, and they don't do anything to speed up their development times. They never learn."we're working as hard as we can so the gap is smaller". LOLIt'll be interesting/sad to see how low the subscriber base is in another year.
How I would've handled Grom:In the 6.2 announce trailer, he shouldn't have had his "They'll come for you" BS. He should've been held captive by Gul'dan, shown the decimation of Tanaan, and realized his failure. Realized he wasn't strong enough and that the Iron Horde has been broken. Rather than whine about it, he does what Grom WOULD do - he drinks the blood! Trailer ends with Grom transformed into the raging berserker we want him to be.HFC then includes Grom as the third-to-last boss - replace any 1 random boss in there you want with him. It would give it all meaning. We'd get the moment we've been fighting for this entire time, to defeat Grom and officially break his Horde - plus he could drop shiny new version of Gorehowl. Then we push on to deal with the puppetmasters... battling Mannoroth and then Archimonde. They could keep the rest as-is. But there was never a good reason to eliminate Grom as an enemy, even if they felt he wasn't right as the final boss for the expac. The big, heroic "we won!" moment could just as easily have Durotan and Yrel standing together - two people who could've become enemies, but who have been brought together by the treachery of the Legion and Grom's Iron Horde. This would've been satisfying for the players on every emotional level.
They will probably do what they did with Wrath. Make a small mini raid like Ruby Sanctum to hold us over until next xpac. As I recall wasn't there an extra portal in Wyrmrest anyways?
I'm ok with Gul'dan being around longer. He's the most interesting villain we've had in a long time. I'm pretty convinced all of WoD and its silly time travel BS was just designed to reintroduce Gul'dan as a villain and play jazz with him. I would be annoyed by that, but he's the best villain they've developed since Arthas/LK.
I really liked WoD when it came out. The zones were great, and unlike pandaria, leveling didn't feel like a painfull grind, with plenty of opportunity to speed it up for alts. I went through the zones on my own pace, hitting 100 well before leaving spires, exploring as I went, having a lot of fun. But once finished the last few quests, I realised I missed something. MoP and Cata had their own flaws, but everything seemed to be at least loosely related. In WoD, a lot of the little sideplots were rather disconnected from the main 'plot'. As a biologist, I really liked all the little fungi filled area's, and was dissapointed that the end of that was just 'expanding mindcontrolling deadly fungi. oh well.'. there was that portal from the everbloom wilds that opened up in stormwind... And there was karabor. Going there outside of the instance (for the one quest that does) the place feels almost haunted. All the NPC's are copypaste 'standard dreanei' without any function but to be placeholders for something I hoped would come soon(tm?). The docks in your garrison have a similar feel right now. Meanwhile, I only see other players when I bump into them getting a bling outside of my garrison, 'stormshield', or warspear for that matter, serves as little more then a portal hub (and a poorer one then the one in pandaland, at that) or afk area for people waiting on Ashran. Was this really the best we could do with this expansion?
Soooo much anger. I've been having a blast this xpac and, though I have been trying, I can't figure out where all the "no content" complaints are coming from. I didn't enjoy Cata or Pandaria, and took long amounts of time off of both, but I'm excited to log into WoD every damn day. I wish I could understand what everyone's hating so much.
So... We basically paid more money for less content. Wow, Blizzard. What a great way to tell us not to pre-purchase any more expansions! My sub runs out in August. I don't see myself renewing it anytime soon. I might play future expansions, but I'll probably wait until they're on sale or just included with the rest of the game before I bother if this is what we can expect going forward. Just... wow!
So, in the end you totally screwed over Warcraft, there were few amazing things to do in WoD, but in the end with all facebook ^&*! you made completely crap. Now you gonna jerk even more with big gap to next expansion (expansion if gonna has same direction like WoD will be final disaster) without patches or content to kill time before it. Oh, there will be few patches to fix all bugs - seriosly, why we even bother with PTR...
If this is the basic end of this expansion with fluff thrown in, the next expansion better be huge. Like going to Argus and 50 levels HUGE!
this is ridiculous. there's making people wait 1 year between expansions..and then there's this. the expansion has not even officially been out fro the year and you are already saying that Hellfire Citadel is the final raid? give me a break. WHat drugs are you on?You can't throw allt his content on us and then release the final raid soo soonNovember 13, 2014end date: assuming 6 months after HFCYou have certainly made a lot of dumb decisions this expansion, but this takes the cake. THere is no need to release the next expansion sooo soon. Expect the outrage to begin and your subscribers to drop. Like seriously, you need to fire all your staff and hire people with brains. Forcing us into an endless grind, and then only giving us 2 raid tiers. Ruining guilds causing most players never to even beat these 2 raid tiers? Making 1 pvp zone that you ruin? giving us Nemesis quests that never get completed?Like, serioiusly.. you need to make this expansion last longer not shorter.
I got to
