/remove Hit Rating ftw!Now I can finally get those stats off those items where they aren't supposed to be on!
Remember, this is optional! No one is forcing you to use reforging and you might aswell not if you think it sucks so much. But if you're over capped on something (I have 600 + hit rating on my warlock) you could reduce that to make another stat or if you have a useful stat (crit) but it is less useful than the other stat (haste) that you don't have yet, you could lose some crit in order to gain haste. But players shouldn't be given the opportunity to exploit this. So that is why you can't completly remove a stat in order to gain another. Trust me Blizz got the maths better than y'all do.
uhm! reforging speed growing ninja man?All loot can be usefull for same gear class (mage, warlock, priest, cloth user), so ninja growing up?think!
Why would someone reforge a green item ?the reforging system is mainly made up for Endgame gears to have variety choices of statsin both PVP and PVE reforging a green/blue item means going to stormwind each time you wanna reforge which is pretty much a waste of time :P "at the mean time"but after all .. i really like the idea.
According to the pics, it seems like you can transfer 40% from a green stat to another green stat; If this holds true then reforging is more a matter of cap-juggling then making gear available to more specs. Even after reforging, it will have 60% of the undesirable stat left; this makes it more viable to get "wrong items" but it's still undesirable. Personally, I think this is better then being allowed to change 100% of it.
No one has commented on the fact that your taking a stat of 80 and turning it into a stat of 32. That's the penalty right there. You're not taking 80 Strength and turning it into 80 Agility and making an item desirable to another class--you're just slightly tweaking an item to fit better with your current gear. It's no different than gemming and you're still better off finding the perfect item than reforging an "almost" item. This is not the end of hunting for the perfect weapon or the rise of ninjas rolling on everything. This is one more way to let players customize their gear--which is always a good thing.More Options > Fewer Options
Almost as good as they said it would be at Blizzcon. Originally players were going to be able to do this, was that scrapped? Is the amount of the stat you can change fix across the board or is it different for each stat? I think it is great because it adds another level of character customization to the game.
OMG OMG! Love professions, love this un'!
