The mythic raid race is over, Gul'dan in The Nighthold has fallen! Russian guild
Exorsus
has claimed top spot. Exorsus also achieved the
World First Mythic Xavius Kill
back in Emerald Nightmare.

Stage Three: The Demon Within:
When Gul'dan reaches 10% health remaining, Archmage Khadgar attempts to return Illidan's soul to his dormant body. Unbeknownst to Khadgar a dark, outworldly presence was filling Illidan's mortal shell, and the consequences of Khadgar's actions incite deadly consequences... (Mythic)

This race was much longer than Emerald Nightmare, which many players felt was a disappointment because of how fast Xavius was defeated. The Nighthold race in contrast lasted well beyond the first raid lockout, with Elisande and Star Augur taking sizable amounts of time to defeat as well. US guilds picked up the early world firsts, with EU guild Serenity achieving the world firsts on later fights--leading many players to speculate they would achieve world first Gul'dan.
