Warlords of Draenor Garrison Missions Now Available on the WoW Mobile App

which avoided notice by many players added Warlords of Draenor garrison missions to the World of Warcraft mobile device app, allowing players to manage followers and dispatch WoD missions alongside Legion, Battle for Azeroth, and Shadowlands expansion missions without logging onto the game.
WOW COMPANION APP
Warlords of Draenor missions are now accessible for players who have unlocked the Warlords of Draenor Garrison and Command Table in game. Players can send followers on Command Table missions, view follower information, and equip follower items from the app.
While later expansions have made mission timers longer and cut down on the number of followers to manage in order to reduce the amount of time spent micromanaging, Warlords of Draenor boasts up to 25 active followers embarking on a missions every 30m to 4 hours, if not even less when utilizing

. For many players, the scope of the WoD follower system was an exhausting amount of micromanaging as followers constantly left on and returned from missions, prompting players to routinely interrupt what they were doing in order to return to the garrison. For others, WoD was the height of engagement, offering a selection of over a hundred different heroes, with dozens of customizable traits to counter 9 unique threats and raise mission success and build their own personal economy.

Being able to manage these remotely through the app is now a major timesaver for those players still running mission for garrison resources, which can then be converted into Goblin Gliders, Hexweave Bags, or a large variety of other profession materials, as well as raise reputations, or even receive the odd piece of raid transmog gear. Unfortunately, only the main garrison missions can be managed, while shipyard missions are not currently available - likely resulting from utilizing a different set of ship-based "followers" and their separate map of threats.
